Congratulations - President Donald J. Trump #45!

But Rex, you've been railing against the national debt for years now. Off budget military spending is one of the biggest reasons for our ever balooning debt. The whole reason wars were kept off budget in the Bush administration is because they said they weren't sure how much they would cost and therefore they would budget nothing above and beyond military spending and just add the difference to the debt. Is this a fiscally responsible way to govern? Do you have a better suggestion than a war tax?

Excellent post / perspective ^^^^^^^^.

These are some of the reasons why Mr.Bush had to create a "false-flag" incident, namely 9/11, to entice the whole country into backing him into a war, that apparently still isn't accountable in a dollars & cents way...(Or has accounted for the criminals that apparently offended, even after all this time, with the CIA & FBI, + local forces & Interpol looking for results...What's that ?...They're not looking anymore ?)...

Let's hope that if another "false-flag" incident is created in the US-of-A or abroad, not too many innocent citizens lives are sacrificed, in the name of profit making of the "elite", who create the false-flag event, then supply the arms, goods & services, fund the war via Federal Reserve & derivative banks, & then collect your money in tax, & other methods at a later date, with interest of course.

Next time citizens of the US-of-A, a more carefully thought-out placement of your vote could avoid this possible up-coming mess, & save lives too. There are many small-voiced independents that have answers & plans too.

Commercial is over, back to our regular programming, whilst we await for a response from our host, & administrator, SELLC....

Later,

Rastus

Rex I know you think the idea of a war tax is a non starter, and perhaps if we are talking about the likelihood of Congress passing such a measure, you would be correct. But just play along with me a bit. If the national debt got so big that there was a citizen sponsored initiative on your next ballot that said something like the following:

In the interest of fiscal responsibility, shall the U.S. Constitution be amended such that during a time when US combat forces are deployed in a sustained conflict abroad which lasts more than 30 days, there shall be an across the board 1.5 percent tax increase to which all U.S. corporations and citizens shall be subject, with the exception of active duty service personnel who would be exempt during their military career and for a period of 5 years thereafter. And that the funding gathered by this temporary tax shall be directed entirely toward the reduction of our national debt.

Circle one:          YES            NO

Since I have heard for years how the national debt is an issue for you, as it is for me, how would you vote on that ballot initiative Rex? I would vote YES btw because I don't think our brave men and women of our armed forces should be asked to fight a war and pay for it too. Are you with me?

I'd have to vote "NO", since historically the Democrats have started more wars than the Republicans.

Democrats would have us in 3 wars just to raise taxes by 4.5%!

Then, how do we tax the parents of the troops? Especially parents oo loved ones who lost someone in action? Your suggest is as I have said, a "non-starter".

Doesn't matter how you try and dress it... Still sounds like another Democrat effort to raise and or make new taxes and regulations!

Suggesting that Bush had anything to do with 9/11 outside of cleaning up the mess sounds about as stupid as that silly ass Zeitgeist DVD video you keep asking me to watch, even though I have told you years ago I watched it and thought is was all bullshit back then as well.

You remind me of a parrot... You have really taken propaganda to an unhealthy level.

Regardless of Nuclear waste, processed foods, safe vehicles and not smoking - in the end, you're still going to die. We all are. Act accordingly.

 LOL,

You are a funny man !!!

I've always believed that ignorance & stupidity go hand in hand together, & can't be separated....

This means that if you try something, & it doesn't work-out, you don't do it again.....

As for *1., Nukes, they're nothing but a man-made reality that's too-hot-to-handle, & feed the ego's of the ass-holes that have them, & threaten to use them. It's called governance under threat. I'm actually really happy that the Rosenburg's did what they did, as it's possibly one reason why we're still alive today.

*2. Processed foods, well, it's up to you what you eat. I couldn't give a shit.

*3. Safe vehicles, well, there is no such thing. There's an element of danger in catching a bus, as there is in driving a Corvette. The choice is yours, & the responsibility too.

*4. Smoking...Your choice once again. Everyone knows the likely health hazards, & it's not my business to say do this or do that.

*5. Death...Yes, the big sleep. I can't wait for that time to arrive, though I like this place too, & want to enjoy as much as possible with the time that's been given. It just sucks that idiots in power, who do not know what they're doing, or what they're handling regarding Nukes, have taken this right away from all of us, by ending our lives all-to-soon, & ending all life on the planet too. I believe we're here to enjoy the place, & look after it for other folks who are yet to have their chance here. And that's just the problem, the chance won't come, & that's our fault.

Propaganda ?...I'm only replying to posts already up here, & reporting on current events to the Nuke crisis. Everything else remains Empirical Fact, particularly 9/11.

And as for 9/11, Mr.Bush was President, so he's responsible, & it's been proven beyond any reasonable doubt, that it was a "false-flag" event, of world wide catastrophic proportions.

I'm happy for you to remain a patriotic-Republican flag-waver SELLC, that's your choice. It's just grossly disappointing. I suggest the brainwashing has been a successful process, & I pity folks like this. You have nothing to boast about, except lies, deceit, & perversing the coarse of World peace & prosperity.

So when do you think the new war will start ?....The Bulletin has moved the doomsday clock forward to 2.5 minutes to midnight, on account of Mr.Trump being an incompetent blabbering idiot...Comforting to know this isn't it ?

I'm not actually sure which party has presided over the inception of more wars, often the decision to go to war is bipartisan. The Democratic party has been around for a longer period of time, but regardless, the tax would hit both parties equally. The percentage would not be stacked, but rather capped at 1.5 percent no matter how many wars we are in, and would cancel the moment combat troops were withdrawn even if some special forces need to be left behind to tidy up loose ends. We could even make an exemption for the parents of fallen solders to also be exempt from the war tax. Would any or all of these modifications sway you to adopt a pay as we go strategy and vote yes on such a ballot innitiative?

Lets try this one:

Whereas off budget war spending weakens us and our abilities to maintain a stable economy and controlled debt levels. In the interest of fiscal responsibility, shall the U.S. Constitution be amended such that during a time when US combat forces are deployed in numbers exceeding 1000 in a sustained conflict abroad which lasts more than 30 days, there shall be an across the board 1.0 percent capped income tax increase to which all U.S. corporations and citizens shall be subject, with the exception of active duty service personnel who would be exempt during their military career and for a period of 5 years thereafter. Also exempt for the rest of their natural lives would be the biological parents and spouse of any US soldier killed in the line of dutyThe funding generated by this temporary tax shall be directed entirely toward the reduction of our national debt. This tax shall only take effect in the event Congress fails to implement another means to completely fund the war effort and related costs as calculated by the Congressional Budget Office.

Circle one:          YES            NO

I even lowered it to a mere 1 percent, and made edits to address all of your concerns. Is this getting closer to something you could support?

I'm not trying to be funny, and you'll have to stick with your doomsday websites and DVD's if you want these kinds of predictions on war and end of world hypothesis.

In the meantime, I'll be flying my flag high and thinking about all them poor refugees stuck in your prison island camps.

Pity.

We already have a defense and war budget.

Why do you feel the need to add another percent? Just for the sake of reminding people we are at war? I mean honestly, we could keep on adding 1% for every little thing and before you know it we're paying 120% taxes!

No PowerStroker, I am going to stop you right there at the dinner roll!

Actually we have a defense budget, but not a war budget. The war has been funded by emergency supplimental spending that has not been offset by its own revenue stream, it is one reason why the debt is growing out of control. I want you to look at something if you dont mind:

http://www.usdebtclock.org/

As you can see, there are a great number of things contributing to our national debt and you can watch the numbers move in real time. Even if we made the change I suggested, all it would do is make the one box titled military/war spending start to slowly go backwards which would eventually, after a number of years make the total national debt number start to unwind. Do you honestly believe we can sustain this without any policy changes? Or do you have any other ideas that could accomplish the same goal?

I'm honestly not trying to manipulate you, I'm only looking to see if there is any kind of bipartisan policy idea that could be suggested to my congressman for the purpose of reducing war induced debt.

From what I understand your boy Obama let a rare earth magnet company go bust and instead gave money to Solanda, a company that later went bankrupt after importing all its solar panels from China!

Now were 100% dependent on China for REE's that are used in making precision weapons. So forgive me if I'm just finished listening to ignorant ideas.

Do you have a suggestion that I can relay to my congressman about what policies should be enacted to keep ongoing wars from bankrupting us? I at least offered a constructive idea. I gave up on the notion of convincing you that the Iraq war may not have been the best policy. I was hoping however that we could at least come together and figure out a way to pay for it. Are you even willing to entertain the idea of finding a revenue stream to pay for these wars?

Are you fucking kidding me?

Your boy Obama ran up $10 trillion dollars in debt - MORE THAN ALL THE PAST PRESIDENTS COMBINED, and you want to come in here and whine about what war cost us!?

How about we talk about how much it cost to keep a jack-ass in office for 8 years!

And yes, I have a suggestion for your congressman...

I suggest he implement a 50% tax on anyone who votes Democrat to fix all the problems they have caused thru the years trying to run a popularity contest rather than a nation!

That way all of us who aren't cooking up these half baked liberal ideas are not being unfairly taxed as a result of them.

Think you can pitch that one PowerStroker?

I'm beginning to get the feeling that you aren't interested in the business of actually governing and solving problems that effect us all. You seem angry about something, and I'm truly sorry to hear that. In a way though, our conversation about my attempt to seek a bipartisan solution to solve a very real problem that effects all of us, and your lack of interest in solving anything is reminiscent of President Obama's desire to solve real problems, even spending the entirety of his political capital to that end, only to face the stark reality of a Republican controlled congress who were also too angry about something to actually work with him on anything.

What a shame.

Click HERE for a reminder of what your anger is costing us. Maybe that will make you happy.

There is a reason Democrats were kicked out of office PowerStroker... Maybe you can read into that and understand why people are upset.

In a medley relay, it's not good to run around the track backwards so your team mate has to make two laps to make up for it... That's what Obama has done.

I guess this means you're not going to help PowerStroker mention possible solutions to his congressman about getting out-of-debt then...Or agreeing to a small tax-fee should you go to war ?...( I like the refugee tax idea myself but...)

What are you going to do then ?....

Not a great week for the Prez.

His advisor Kellyann Conway got spanked for hawking Ivanka's products.

National Security Advisor Michael Flynn was fired for lying about discussing sanctions with Russia prior to the election.

It seems a number of Trump's team had contact with Russian intelligence agents prior to the election and now many members of the GOP want investigations about this.

His nominee for the Supreme Court spoke out against the President's comments regarding the judiciary.

Oh yeah, and his approval ratings have tanked faster than any president in modern history.

Stay tuned for more as it happens.

Is that anything like Obama being caught on a hot mic trying to make a deal with Russia before the election? Something about "flexibility"?

You really want to talk about making deals with Russia before the election? Have you seen the news today?

Nice labor secretary nominee btw, beats his wife and keeps his employees in poverty., no wonder he dropped out.

Looks like Steve Bannon has a history of beating his wife too, and Trump himself even with Ivana. Great role models Rex.

Yes PowerStroker! I really do want to talk about making deals with Russia! How about that deal Clinton struck with the Russian for that uranium? All so the family foundation could get some more bribe -- I mean Donation money? Spare me! Your ignorant party is terrified of what it will mean when the USA and Russia are on good terms, likely because you know what it means for idiots who stir up bullshit.

With regards to you claims of abuse towards women... Well that's just the kind of bullshit I was talking about above... Typical lies that have absolutely nothing to do with the politics at hand, just another liberal lie used as a distraction. I think America has proven that we're all tired of that B.S.

You mean to tell me you didn't see the news today?

They scrubbed the vote on the repeal and replace bill completely because the most conservative House Republicans felt that throwing 24 million people out of health insurance wasn't cruel enough. Your team couldn't muster the votes so now they are moving on to other issues.

No, I am just saying that whatever you posted is basically a box with a question mark in it... Perhaps did you post a link or a youtube video incorrectly? I have no idea what you posted prior to my response, it's not showing up.

Regardless what is said, who pulled the bill... It doesn't change the underlying facts..

I mean, lets all be honest here... Politics is all about the art of selling a deal, Ryan failed to sell the deal! Sure Trump hedged his bet on this bill by saying that if this one does not pass at least people can see the real train wreck that Obama left for the "next guy", and I am sure Obamacare is about to get real-real ugly, real-real fast! Because it has always been well known that the preverbal $hit was going to hit the fan in 2017 with regards to Obamacare.

Democrats were able to whip the votes from their people back when they rammed Obamacare thru... But let's be honest, there was all kinds of deals made that had nothing to do with healthcare to "bribe" if you will, the votes. Passing a bill to see what's in the bill is a h3ll of a sell, and lets be honest - you could only sell such a bag of goods like that to your own party. It's not as if the American people themselves would have bought such a bag of goods under that kind of reasoning.

$10,000 deductibles? Can you even call that insurance? I mean sure, if you were dying you'd go to the hospital even if it meant you'd be looking at a million dollar bill... But honestly isn't that pretty much the same deal we had before Obama care? Where the majority of Americans were pretty much bankrupt the first major health issue they had? Now the options are so bad that it would bankrupt many to buy the good insurance, and it will bankrupt many to use the affordable insurance.

I really don't see how anything has changed. Yet I know some people will go on about pre-existing conditions, keeping your kids on your plan for extra time and so on... But really, what good does it do when you can't pay your deductible and lose your insurance? What good does it do to keep your kids on your health plan for longer if you can't afford the deductible? Do you mean to tell me that someone terminally ill will be able to come up with $10k per year, each year until such time as they are healed or pass away? No! So how is that any different than before!? The tax payer is still picking up the tab, only now they have more ways to deny people certain kinds of care and medications.

If you ask me, Democrats made a big mistake that is only going to hurt more people as insurance companies pull out of the exchange and people are left with no coverage. Another 100% increase on top of the already 100% increase is going to be unrealistic for many people... And it's hard to imagine deductibles higher than $10,000 - but that is where they are going! Who are the Democrats going to blame when this happens? They can not blame Republicans because they could have helped to pass this new healthcare bill! It's obvious Trumps unwillingness to put kickbacks into his bill did not result in the same effect as Democrats got by buying votes, because not every single Republican sided with the new plan, whereas every single Democrat voted for Obamacare, and every single Republican voted against. But that really didn't matter because the fix, or should I say the kickbacks were in place when Democrats rammed thru their bill.

I guess it is what it is... Time will tell... But Trump made a promise to immediately repeal and replace Obamacare before it got out of hand, and he did try... So I guess we all need to see the train wreck.. I don't know what else to say..

Trying isn't good enough !!!

Mr.Trump seems to be making excuses for things he said he was going to fix !!!...And dare I say, even make America great again....

How's Mr.Obama meant to survive now that someone sneaky has had his ship busted, when fully loaded with Cocaine ? They were supposed to unload most of it first...Mr.Bush is going to be really peed-off...He's lost quite an investment, though I guess it's small change for those folks.

I sure hope Mr.Trump isn't setting himself up for a major accident....He'll never make America great again if he upsets too many people...It all looks too "gangsta" for my liking...

Could you imagine the outcry from liberals if something like that was put on a billboard during Obama's tenure that was critical of his race? I think there was, and it was found in bad taste and forced down... But this is just one of many examples of the Democrat double standard.

It's going to be a rough 7 years and 10 months for liberals...

I forgot to update this...

1. Today President Trump fires 59 cruise missiles at a Syrian air base from which a horrific chemical attack against civilians was launched. I agree with this move, It was proportional, responsible, and necessary.

2. Also today, The U.S. Senate deploys the nuclear option, changing it's own rules in order to force Judge Gorsuch through and put him on the Supreme Court. This is horrible, and a lot of Republicans agree that it is horrible.

3. Earlier this week, Trump signs in to law a bill that allows your internet service provider to sell your browsing history to anyone without even notifying you. How do you feel about that Rex? I hope you didn't ever have any expectation of privacy, because Judge Gorsuch certainly doesn't believe in such a thing. That whole "right to privacy" is such a liberal pipe dream isn't it?

Hmmm,

The plot thickens...And all I can do is quote Senator Palpatine..."I love Democracy...I love the Republic...The power you give me, I will lay down, once this crisis has abated"...

 1. Of course you agree with the action! The very fact there was still chemical weapons in Syria after Obama praised Russia for supposedly removing and destroying them all makes Democrats look bad! Obviously Obama could not muster the brass to take action, so it pleases you that someone who does have such brass take the appropriate action. It helps draw attention away from the fact that had Obama acted back when he drew his "Red Line" this may have never happened.

2. I understand that it was okay for the Democrats to change the rules when trying to confirm the many lower court Judges, it was totally fine at that time when Democrats were doing it! Right? But now, oh - no, it's all of a sudden a great big deal! Spare us the hypocrisy and just admit that your party is no less guilty of the same things you are trying to demonize Republicans for. And I just love how John McCain made a big deal out of it, only to conclude that he had to support the measure because Democrats have been guilty of dangerous obstructionism... Is that the basis of your "Republicans agree it is horrible"? Because what they said and what they voted to do are two completely different animals. I just hope you are aware of that.

3. We had a discussion about "net neutrality" and your buddy Mr. Wheeler in the past PowerStroker... And while I can't say allowing ISP's to sell my internet traffic is something I agree with, I don't think allowing companies like Facebook and the likes to get away with it is any better. So the playing field is leveled. If this means that my Facebook feed on "Trending topics that I have shown interest in" will no longer include things like Hillary Clinton, Beyonce and Barak Obama, then yes... It's a good thing. If it means that all of the fake internet trolls who brought about the Obama renaissance back in 2007 will be better dealt with in 2020, then YES it is certainly a good idea! If this means hackers and such can be more easily identified along with spammers, then YES it will be a good idea.

LOL,

C'mon fella's !!! The Rothschilds bought out Mr.Trump decades ago...And now the President is repaying the "Globalists" debt, buy doing the "New World Orders" bidding...

As soon as Mr.Trump "pulled the trigger" on Thursday, liberal guests on MSNBC & CNN were gushing praise...And John McCain plus Hilary Clinton were patting him on the back..

Think about that for a little while, & let it sink in...( All he had to do was start a war...How ****ing sick is that ?...And how sick is our society ?...Duped again ).

Also,

In terms of speaking in hypocrisy....How come now, in week 11 of Mr.trumps term, is he attacking Syria, to qt."protect all those innocent babies", when they aren't good enough to seek refuge in the US-of-A....And what is the cost of all this bombing, when compared to the cost of offering refuge in the US-of-A ?...

Less than 4-years ago, Mr.Trump wrote, "The only reason Mr.Obama wants to attack Syria, is over his very dumb "Red Line" statement. Do NOT attack Syria, fix the US-of-A"...

Hypocrisy ?.....Lies ?.....Contradiction ?.....= World Standard Politics = Stoma's 2017 achievement award...

I guess the Gold Trump Card may soon sell-you-out-too...
