I'm a mess. One of my little doggies had a stroke. HD steroids saved his life but he is still not himself which makes me a mess. Been a week now.

I lot of friends have been having issues with their pets it seems.. I know exactly how you feel, my dog is 10 years old and he gets to having these episodes.. The first time I almost had him put down because he lost mobility in his back half it seemed. By the time he got to the vet it cleared up and his tail was wagging so I decided right then and there that as long as he wants to keep on fighting I was going to keep on helping him.

Eyore is 14 1/2, so is his buddy Bo-wu. Both Chinese hairless cresteds. He lost everything. Totally limp till. Let out huge sighs. Mouth open tongue out. I kept wetting it. The steroid shot brought him back and I had to give him a couple tranquilizer injections first night. Been a week. Much better and still with us but not 100%. He fell off the couch today onto a pillow and was shaking for a couple hours after that, scared himself. Me too.
