How much is the no longer available LT4 intake worth?

GM Performance still sells the kit, however it is the intake manifold thats NLA. They now sell the conversion kit less the intake manifold. You must purchase an aftermarket intake such as the Edelbrock Air Gap intake.

I dont know I guess it depends on the market, and if someone needs one.

The LT4 intake, in my opinion, isn't worth beans. It limits your cylinder head choice to those weak-ass LT4 heads, which need porting, as well as the intake to make a good working combo. You might as well just use LT1 stuff, and make more power for WAY less money.

I agree to an extent. Perhaps you should read the LT1 VS. LT4 thread. There you will see the diffrence in the heads and the runners.

What I do agree with is the fact that the LT4 intake is not much diffrent than the LT1, however there is some diffrence in how it mates to the heads, so you couldnt use an LT4 intake on an LT1 anyway.

Not to mention the fact that guys charging an ass-load of money for the factory lt4 intake, and an aftermarket one can be had for about four bones.

Yes but you can not deny some folks are after the original. Its like trying to chug down a no-name brand soda, you cant help but to think "God Coke taste so much better".

Im not saying the air gap isnt a fine manifold, just that its not yet a legend. The term NLA (No longer Available) seems to push prices up on ANYTHING, be it a manifold, or a playboy.
