Well, for whatever reason we seem to have stirred up a hornets nest with these Powerstroke Diesel techs. While I havent tried to examine IP's, I got a feeling some of these posters may be the same person. But what a grand showing, even if it may only be one or two guys.
Just shows the pure mob mentality these techs have with regards to their information. You would damn near have to waterboard them and pry the truth from their cold dead lifeless hands!
They come in here $hitting on me, drinking all the beer, telling tales of woe and not even once did they offer to clean up the big mess before leaving. Then they come in here complaining about how they all of a sudden have grown a conscience when they know each and every day they are screwing some poor guy whose only mistake was to buy a Ford Diesel.
I must admit that out of ALL the many forums I visit, the Powerstroke crowd really seems to be a good bunch of guys, despite the fact they are all suffering from severe cases of egomania. I think most of them are just here trying to win the free Omaha steak dinner! LOL

It is truly sad that the thread that spawned this debacle has been deleted.... where the world could be shown the callous truth.
You espouse to being familiar with the 6.0 and the 7.3... yet, at one point, you admitted to a total lack of knowledge regarding the operation of a HEUI injector... and then you appear to claim that there is some sort of collaboration of silence.
Ford has, in print, several "coffee table" type books - glossy pages, spiral bound, full color pictures. Beautifully done and worthy of display on even the finest coffee tables. From the 7.3 through the 6.0, all the way to the 6.4 (each and everyone a Navistar engine) and all of them available on line for your perusal - for <FREE>. With the operation of the HEUI injection system explained in great detail in most of them - well... except for the 6.4.
I've alluded to it in other posts and I state it now.... Your customers only sin was allowing someone that was not familiar with a complex system to work on his truck....
Imagine a doctor rummaging around in your innards thinking "we doan need no steenkeeng plahns...." as he probes and carresses your gizzards. It is vitally important that we become aware of what it is we don't know.... and proceed accordingly... and with a great deal of caution.
Yes, we have a very real need to earn a living, net a profit and remain in business for the fiscal period yet to come.... Part of how we do that is plan for set backs... plan for training (automotive systems are becoming increasingly complex with each new generation of vehicles) cost... plan for adequate repair documentation.... MOD and AllData *may* be adequate fro some - but nothing can replace the factory shop manuals.... especially when we consider the sections that describe the operation of the systems involved... And we desparately need to understand these systems if we are to diagnose and repair them in a timely and economically responsible manner.
As for your opinion of me.... who fucking cares? The people that matter to me are pleased with my performance and my ethics.... and all of my customers still have their vehicles... running quite well, I might add.
The ridiculous photos you post clearly indicate your psychological age hasn't quite caught up to your chronological age, but oh well. Professionalism (or lack thereof) at its finest.
You are one to be accusing us of "screwing some poor guy whose only mistake was to buy a Ford Diesel." since you obviously did, TO THE TUNE OF $12,000. Since the majority of repairs we carry out are WARRANTY repairs, it hardly seems likely that we are "screwing" anybody out of ANYTHING other than what is rightfully our billable hours for repair to Ford Motor Company. Sure it's nice when we get the odd retail scheduled maintenance service to be done, but those are far and few compared to the number of those seeking "freebies".
So.....you never did fill us in with the reason why that thread got pulled. What's the matter Rex? Are you actually affraid that it may catch the attention of the wrong person(s)? Are you actually affraid you may someday piss off the wrong person(s) with your tactics that may actually do something to put you out of business PERMANENTLY?

Hey Rex, You forgot about me the banned one...... By the way in the Canton,Plymouth,Westland and Livonia area you have created your own reputation of being the "stealer". I have been in the area and have worked at most of the shops you have called on in the past 20 or so years. Does Sunshine Honda,B&F Auto,Motor City Ford,Don Massey,Hines Park,Bill Brown,Gordon Chevrolet and a few others sound familiar? You don't really know of me but I know of you and have talked with most of the dealers and companies local to you. They all have your number. I have worked and been in the area my whole life and have never run into a bigger wiener than you. Keep up the good work, if thats what you like to call it. You can keep this up all you want, but we have our dignity of NOT stealing from customers that don't know any better than to bring their vehicle to you. Have a skippy day.
