At first they started taxing tobbaco, but I didnt smoke, so I was not willing to speak up.

Then they started raising the cost of gas, but I drove little, so I was not willing to speak up.

Next they started raising the cost of Booze, but I didnt drink, so I was not willing to speak up.

Then they raised the cost of food, but I made a good wage, so I was not willing to speak up.

Soon after they raised taxes, but I had money put away, so I was not willing to speak up.

The worst is when they spent all the governments money and the country went broke, but by this time there was nothing left, and no one to speak up to.

No sir, I am affraid it is much worse than that.

If paying 10 times the cigarette cost meant that I could feel good about Obama, I would.

Sorry to say, its a whole lot effing worse than just Michigan.

Well, maybe you should quit smoking then.  It's probably one of those survival of the fittest economic Darwinism things you tout.  If you're no longer fit to afford smokes, then it's a sign of your failure and inability to compete in this economy.

Smoke are $7.00 a pack in Michigan in some places. Expect no less than $6.50 per pack if your getting a deal where the seller is taking a loss just to keep them moving. And get this, they plan on raising them again!

With regards to PowerStrokers statement regarding my fitness to smoke... Well I should quit smoking just because I have kids that I need to look after.

I could overpay for anything, its just the point of WHY? Once again you fail to understand that overpaying so that some idiot can live better at my expence is not something I wish to contribute to. Should I quit smoking you guys better look out! LOL

P.S. From what I read its almost less expensive to purchase pot than tobacco. You want to know something else? I have NEVER seen a tobacco seed in the flesh... HAVE YOU?
