I know... I know... I know....

WTF am I doing writing a thread about Oprah? Well I thinks its happend to us all at one time or another... Your laying there on the sofa just relaxing watching some TV and then it happens... Oprah comes on.

Now normally I would just flip the chanel, but for whatever reason there was no remote and I had just got nice and comfy on a cold winter night. I thought to myself WTF, here we go.

After about 15 minutes of watching Oprah prey on the misfortunes of folks on national TV I could not take anymore. While I really feel that the folks whom are on that show have really had a problem, and in many ways are huring inside, it makes me sick to watch Oprah's fat ass up on stage milking them for emotion to bolster her ratings.

Some of the people on there I honestly feel just want national media attention, and what really makes them cry is the fact they know they have just sold out their loved ones for a moment of fame. Some are more genuine than others, and the ones whom are truely hurting in the most sincere way really have no right on TV being exploited by Fat Ass Oprah and her Harpo productions that have been harping on for far too long.

I would say Oprah would be a good politician except for the fact she is ignorant and brought us Obama, which should have been a big red flag in of itself. Much like Oprah, Obama is good at talking about things, and not so good at fixing them. Like Oprah, Obama is a big fan of just throwing money at problems, not fixing them.

I could not gut more than 15 minutes, and instead of sleeping here I am bitching...

or maybe you don't like black people. because otherwise you'd be bitching about donahue, maury, jerry springer, etc. - the WHITE MALES who are EXPLOITING PEOPLE FOR RATINGS. and oprah does not need to apologize for her size. i'd like to see you be a middle age woman with a thyroid problem (while probably going through menopause) and see how you look. and my bet is the only reason you were really looking at her ass is because you want a piece of it. we've seen your previous postings of big girls....

IIRC, Oprah is on during the afternoon.... along about this time, I am at work.... I don't have the time nor the inclination to watch television.... If a grown man is watching this shit on TV... he is either unemployed or getting ready for the 4PM to midnight shift at the plant (or the security guard job).

FWIW... I watch little TV...

I dont think its fair for you to say I dont like black people just because I can't stand Oprah. I have a few black actors that I enjoy watching on TV, and the key word here is "acting", not sucking the life out of some hurt individual to boost raitings. I think if you check this forum there will be no talk of Donahue, Maury or Jerry Spinger! I dont care for their shows either. I think they all suck the life out of people for raitings too. I have never even watched Donahue or Maury. Springer I have only seen when they showed clips of iditios fighting on TV. Once they cut that shit out, you stoped hearing about springer. No it just happend that the night I got comfy on the sofa Oprah was on.

Thanks for calling me a racist though. I got a name for you too, but Ill just let you guess what that might be.

I hate to break it to you Pogo, but here in the City we have cable TV and is was around 11:30pm Sunday evening after the news when Oprah come on. I was reaching that sheep counting blissful sofa comfy feeling before Oprah ruiend it.

I'm supposed to be impressed that you will watch some black ACTORS?!?!?
That's a really pathetic defense....

I'd be interested if you told me you had several black friends. However, I assume that they can see right through you and are smart enough to stay away from you completely.

I have some friends that are black, I never mentioned it because it wasnt important. I thought we were talking about Movie/TV stars. As a matter of a fact I am going out to help on of them get their vehicle running later tonight!

Thats the problem with people today... If you dont care for someone and they happen to be black your a racist. Thats how Obama stole the election. I dont care much for Obama either, so does that make me a racist? To be honest I like Oprah better than Obama, at least when she says she's going to help people she follows thru. Its the least she could do for capitalizing on other peoples misfortunes.

With regards to Pogo's claims that I was home during the day watching Oprah... Truth is I had just got done watching the news. The remote was on my desk near the computer, and as I mentioned I had just got comfy. I thought I might be able to just fall asleep before Oprah sucked me in.
