Recently I been working with an SEC that had the key lost. I was going to pop the column before I noticed three little letters cast into the housing. Them three letters just happend to be AMG.
I checked my stock of 8 SEL columns and none of them had this AMG cast into the housing. So my question is this, Did ALL SEC's come with AMG steering columns?
Part numbers were 1735-3 and then 126 462 1220

Some have mentioned it could just be a "casting" code. I don't see anything different about it, but who knows. The vehicle it's in right now is not an AMG, although it was a Euro Japan model.
