Been seriously considering getting a Corvette

I dont know what it is. Maybe it's the spring weather coming on, maybe it's mid-life.

I been checking around watching Corvettes on Craigslist for a good deal, possibly a trade.

I am most interested in the 1992-1996 Corvette. Something about that body style that really appeals to me. I like the digital dash in the earlier 1984-1990's but I dont care as much for the engine. I love the LT1 engines and feel it will prove to be the last generation of the cast iron block for GM, for sports cars anyway.

I was thinking about maybe another Mustang or Camaro/Firebird but it seems the years I am most interested are very close in price to the Corvette, and since I have never owned one before I am leaning heavy twards the vette.

For some reason I know this vehicle being a two seater is not really what I NEED. But for some reason I cant seem to talk myself out of it. I am pretty sure it will lead to nothing but tickets and trouble, but I still cant seem to stop looking at them.

Anyway, any pointers out there? I am somewhat new to the Vette's in terms of ownership, while I have made repairs on a great many. I may be willing to settle for the earlier 86-91 if the right color combo comes along, or if it is a convertible.

I just dont know... Someone talk me out of it before its too late!

Well it seems my mid-life crisses has passed... Thanks to Grafdesign it appears our sports car ambitions will take the form of a Euro 560 SEC.

You never know, it could end up with an LT1 engine by the time all is said and done.

Well, it only took six years... But I finally am able to cross this dream off the list!
