Brave people of Egypt.

Amazing! The courage of the people in Egypt to rise above their oppressive government!

And the cowardice of the government to roll in the Army to stifle their protest!

I wonder if America is capable of rising up like this? It seems with the amount of corruption and the recycling of corrupt leaders it's just a matter of time before and incident like this hits home.

Since a majority said so.  That's what democracy IS.

Sorry PowerStroker... A democratic super majority in congress is not the same as a majority of the people.

Not ONE Republican was responsible for passing the Flawed Health Care bill to the Democratic President Obama for his signature. As such the house has voted in favor of a repeal of this un-constitutional law.

So we will see what becomes of this waste of time half assed donkey law.

but the only way a Democratic super majority even existed is because they were elected. That's how our democratic republic works.

Yeah but the guy who signed it into law isn't even an American citizen, couldn't produce his long form birth certificate in a reasonable amount of time and sealed up all his records.

Guess it will take a Republican Super Majority to un-seal them files and roll back all of the Kenyen kids efforts to destroy our Republic.

But he is an American citizen. His mom was a US citizen, and he was born in Hawaii. You're just recycling conspiracy theory from bigoted people on the right who can't stand the fact that we have a black president. Where was all this outrage when he ran for US Senate in 2004?

His mother? What does she have to do with Obama moving from the US to Jakarta Indonisa and then denouncing his American citizenship? Where is the long form? These are all valid questions that every American has the right to ask of their President.

Why was it not a big deal in 2004 when Obama was running for US Senate? Because of the dirty Democratic Chicago Politics in works there and because Rham Emmanuel had all of Obama's competition kicked off the ballot on technicalities.

Oh and by the way,

All of Obama's race cards have been revoked as of 2009.

Are you fucking kidding me PowerStroker?

Does it look like they have any electronics where Obama is from?

Let alone electricity or batteries? Looks like he was lucky to get that tire and the cloths on his back! Just think, a man like that is now running our nation!

OMG!

Now we got Obama trying to act like President of Egypt! Does this guy have no shame? He needs to get over himself and focus on our nation. We already give Egypt billions in aid, and it's almost like we pay them to buy our stuff anyway.

When Obama got on TV and made the statement that the President of Egypt needs to step down NOW, I thought to myself, "That's a little bit of the pot calling the kettle black".

Sometimes I think Obama is the biggest wind bag the world has ever seen.

The brave people of Egypt are joining forces with other working class people right here in America to send pizza to the protesters in Madison.

I sent 2 large pepperoni's over to them tonight.

MADISON, Wis. Someone in Egypt has been paying attention to whats happening in Madison and wanted to send a message of solidarity from across the globe so they ordered a pizza.

It might seem like a small gesture, but its overwhelming to the staff at Ians on State Street a campus staple mere blocks from the Capitol where in the last few days, theyve fielded calls from concerned citizens of 14 countries, and all 50 states and the District of Columbia looking to donate money to provide free pizza to the Wisconsinites who have congregated here.

On Saturday alone, Ians gave away 1,057 free slices in their store and delivered more than 300 pizzas to the Capitol itself.

By 2 p.m. local time Sunday, theyd given away 351 slices and sent countless other full pies to the rotunda, where protesters have been gathering since well before noon. As a few locals stood waiting for their slices, an Ians staffer went to the chalkboard hanging behind the register and wrote, Turkey in big block letters and co-workers expressed a sense of disbelief.

I dont think we started it, said Ryan OConnor, a sophomore at a local technical school who works the register at Ians. We made a post to our Facebook page because of the volume of calls we already had been getting unprompted.

OConnor said Ians got its first call Thursday when a mother of a University of Wisconsin student called and offered to donate $200 to help feed the people her daughter told her had flooded the Capitol. Since then, the outpouring of money from all over the world has put the pizza-makers into overdrive.

The blackboard behind the counter lists the countries donating as Korea, Finland, New Zealand, Egypt, Denmark, Australia, US, Canada, Germany, China, England, Netherlands, Turkey, Switzerland, Italy and has the abbreviations for all 50 states listed below, with donating states circled.

The small pizza chain with locations in Madison and Chicago has been using Facebook and Twitter to take what started as one phone call and make it into an international movement. Saturday night, the State Street location was so overwhelmed by orders it had to cease its delivery operations. But employees still are finding time to update the restaurants social media pages to keep the pizza revolution going and share with the world their chalkboard progress.

This is astounding! Ians posted Saturday to Twitter.

If you are trying to imply that the people of Egypt have set an example for all the world to see I will agree.

If you think home boy giving away some Pizza's to feed some protesters in a shameless "Advertisement Plug" is in any way similar to the Egypt uprising then you are just plain nuts. I am willing to bet that this guy burnt thru a month of what he already has set aside for advertisement. Pizza places spend a small fortune is advertising. Feeding for free a customer in need usually makes a customer indeed.

How about them Libyans? They are taking heavy artillery fire along with freaking fire from Military Jet aircraft! And you want to talk about free Pizza.

Here is a thought PowerStroker, pretty soon Obama's health care law will take effect, so these people shouldn't be out anything, Right? After all this new law will lower health care cost and if they can't afford the insurance they can get a vouture(sp) right? Weren't you saying something about not having to pay a fine for not having insurance? I know you are a big advocate of Obama's health care law, and since you advocate it so often why are you even bitching? Won't Obama's new law fix everything!? Oh that's right... It's an inconvenient time to bring up Obama's health care law right now huh?

I was talking about workers rights and collective bargaining, not health care.
