PowerStroker's become progressively quieter in recent months, as the realization that his boy Obama is going to lose the election, has increasingly sunk into his consciousness.
Think back 4 years to the cult-like "Yes We Can" and "Hope and Change" Obama campaign of 2008, and compare it to the majorly negative Obama campaign of 2012 that is 100% afraid to tout any bit of its record whatsoever. All one hears out of the Obama presidential campaign of 2012 is FUD and lies about Romney's tax returns (despite an almost absolute absence of any sort of Obama life documentation); Romney's record as a businessman; Romney's overseas accounts; Romney's verbal gaffes; Romney's plans to gut Medicare (despite Obama's already robbing $700+ billion from it to pay for Obamacare); and so on.
Not one speech touting the great accomplishments of the past 4 years. Not one positive speech. ANYTHING to keep the public's attention off of the dismal economy and the Obama legislative record.
