Hollywood has become a lazy bastion of ineffective whiney celebrities who have forgotten WE ARE THE BOSS!

Look at the state of Hollywood today! Just look at it!

Remember back in the day when a season of a television show had at minimum 24 or more episodes a year!? How many do today? Heck take the Walking Dead for example! That show has more breaks and is lucky to even see 12-14 episodes a year! The people in Hollywood have become lazy, overpaid and out of touch with their constituents!

Not only are the number of shows in a season decreasing, the quality is in the tank too! Honestly, what good movie have you seen in awhile? NONE! I find myself buying movies from the 80's and 90's more than I do the new ones! Many of which are just nothing more than propaganda anyway! Long gone are the days where movies inspire, now days they have all this high definition 4k quality but the films coming out of Hollywood aren't even that great! Take for example the new Star Wars! It's more or less a pathetic attempt to capitalize on the classic Star Wars that made it great, legend be damned! Anymore you could almost say that Star Wars is much like the horror film Friday the 13th, as it's just about as played out!

Yet they keep doing it... No originality, nothing controversial or realistic.... Nothing but sunshine and butterflies and some overpaid actor who looks like crap without make-up trying to turn every movie into some kind of movement to save the trees or something. And look at the relationships in Hollywood! Do you know anyone in Hollywood that is a movie star and has been married more than 10 years? Or married only once? It's like these people get all this money and publicity and lead the most pathetic lives, yet we still love them! Why? How flipping hard could it be to make a movie anyway? Especially when you're being paid a ridiculous  amount of money to do it! They just become washed up and full of themselves... Take for example the movie "A very Murray Christmas" with Bill Murray, Miley Cyrus, Chris Rock and George Clooney - that movie has to be, hands down, THE WORST MOVIE EVER MADE PERIOD! And you can see it through the performance of the movie, which is absolute pain to even watch in it's entirety. If you want to sum up Hollywood for the lazy, overpaid and out of touch group they have become look no further than the movie "A very Murray Christmas". Watch it and you too will agree, Hollywood is on the ropes and we the people are tiered of their whiny BS! Now dance you monkeys!

LOL,

Don't be too hard on the Californians !!! They're the ones copping the worst of the Fukushima sewage...And likely it's starting to show......

And don't be too hard on Rey please, the force is strong with this one....

( Let's face it, the world loves Star Wars, & it was time to continue on with the same "elements of story" for a new generation... I liked seeing Han, the Princess, & Luke again ! ).

Cheers,

Rastus

I'm a fan of the early Star Wars too Rastus! I just haven't cared much for the more recent offerings... They could have been better, I think.

The way I see it, Hollywood wants to voice it's mind, fine by me, I might as well take advantage of the opportunity and voice mine!

I didn't expect much from the new movies myself, to be honest, but I found myself being pleasantly surprised, & enjoying the ride once again....

Sad to see Han Solo die, but Harrison Ford always wanted his character to be killed-off...And of course, tying that in with his murdering son being the Grand-child of Darth Vader, actually has some merit. He's quite a funny character too, especially when he loses it LOL !

I always wondered what happened to the blown-up space-ships, & it was good to see Rey making a living out of recycling parts from wrecks...

And as for the Mellinium Falcon, classic !

I haven't seen the new installment, I'll wait until it's on DVD at the supermarket in a few months....And add it to the collection !
