Maybe I need a Rolls Royce now that I have a driver?

You know how you see them low dollar Rolls Royce on Craigslist all the time and you just ask yourself who would own such a car without a driver? Well I think I may have taken out an obstacle in the Rolls Royce game... Got two kids getting their licenses, so for at least 4-6 years I'll have a driver... LOL

I think from time to time I am going to post a link to affordable Rolls Royce vehicles I see on Craigslist from time to time... Anyone else who is reading this can feel free to do the same as well. Who knows, maybe... Just maybe one day I can add a Rolls to my fleet!

I mean check this one out with an asking price of $23k, I bet you could get him down to $12-$15k!

https://chicago.craigslist.org/wcl/cto/5957199048.html

Seems you aren't touching a Rolls, even an old beat up one, for under $10k... Still, it's a fu@king Rolls!

Yeah I'm poser because out of the four Mercedes I own, one of them has an AMG bumper.

We're all still waiting on photos of your ride.

Nahh....A Roller just isn't cool enough IMO...

If you had to veer a little towards that path, the Mercedes Benz 450SEL6.9 is still rated as the worlds best limo-type ride you could ever own, according to most mags that test the old beast, even against today's new crop of wanna-be's...

Stoma is very lucky I have a soft spot for Chevrolet or I'd totally bust his a$$ for even mentioning a Denali in a Rolls Royce thread... To his credit, I could believe that he does own one, and even enjoys it... That's just a Chevy for you!

Now with regards to the S600... Well, at one time I was mulling buying one myself with a bad suspension system, but I am so glad a buddy of mine refused to back me on the purchase and I stuck with the W126 because them newer W140 are total $hit... Biodegradable wire harnesses, ugly as all h3ll, expensive modules, limp home mode... And to top it all off, I beat the snot out of one awhile back on the expressway in my slightly modified 560 SEL.. But he said he is thinking about trading it in, so obviously he already knows all of this.

With regards to the Porsche... Pffft... PHALLLEEEZZE! Why don't you take it 60 MPH into a turn and pull off a Paul Walker you faggot! Do us all a favor! I don't care for Porsche myself, sure some of the ultra expensive models are nice looking and perform well, but obviously they don't hold the road very well if people are throwing them off the road with a false sense of security the small wheel base gives.. I've just never been a Porsche guy, so the fact he may or may not have one means about as much to me as his participation on this here site.

LOL,

Porsche's are a strange breed of car. I've been in a couple & didn't mind the mojo that comes with one either, but I'd rather your Corvette any-day to be honest !!!

You really have to question expense & practicality of a car that needs its engine removed for a spark-plug change...And then all the hidden expenses that go along with that, just to do preventative maintenance whilst the motor is out...This is the main draw-back IMO, as the only Porsche I'd consider is a 928, simply because its a near 5.0-ltr V-8.

Ciao,

Rastus
