That's a good question. I think it's pretty clear now that there will be no second term, but I don't know for how much of his first term he will get to stay.
And who is going to do anything about it? The minority Democrats who couldn't collectively muster enough votes to pass gas let alone impeachment proceedings?

Democrats can demand a special prosecutor under threat of almost completely shutting down the Senate if they so choose. In that event, Trump's legislative agenda would be tied up in knots.

We need a special prosecutor to investigate Obama's treasonous Iran deal, and another one to investigate Clinton's shady Russian uranium kickback deal!
Why waste money on this "non-issue" with regards to the Russians? It's already been proven that no election machines or ballots were hacked or altered! Thus there is no need to waste money on such a non-issue! Democrats love to waste time and money! They wasted an entire decade and over $15 Trillion dollars! Russians hacked the DNC and leaked things strategically to wikileaks in an effort to reduce support for Hillary. We need an investigation to determine whether the Trump campaign was in communication with Russia with regard to those efforts. If there was no collusion in that regard, a nonpartisan investigation will prove you right Rex. If you are so sure of your point of view on this, you should have nothing to fear from a special prosecutor. If anything you should want one to get this over with as soon as possible to prove Trump innocent and allow him to get back to his normal routine of making America "great" again. You want that don't you?
