Something fishy about this whole garbage truck on the train tracks that just happened to be carrying a train load of Republicans..
I don't subscribe to network television so I don't get the "blow-by-blow" that they will milk this for over the next week but I'd be curious to know who the driver was, what was the name of the company, was the route a normal route, was the driver on time or late.. such details I think are important because honestly who stays in a loaded rig when it dies on the train tracks?
If it were me driving something heavy like that I would have got out of the rig and called 911 so they could notify they rail road and dispatch emergency services... At minimum this guy should have radioed dispatch to let them know so they could notify the railroad and send out a tow truck.
The whole thing stinks and so far it's been little to no details.
