White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders has some words of advice for protesters confronting administration officials in public Its time to simmer down.

Sanders, who was one of those caught up in the firestorm of leftists unwilling to let Trump aides eat or appear in public without being harassed, believes people on both sides of the aisle need to calm down.

I think itd be great if we could calm down, she replied to a TMZ reporter asking her about the recent spate of incidents involving administration officials at restaurants.

Thats on both sides? the video tabloid reporter asked.

Absolutely, Sanders responded.

Sanders herself fell victim to the latest unhinged liberal craze when the Red Hen in Virginia, demanded that she leave their establishment without being served, then harassed her family when they left for another location.

Owner Stephanie Wilkerson defended rejecting Sanders patronage, saying shes not a huge fan of confrontation but this feels like the moment in our democracy when people have to make uncomfortable actions and decisions to uphold their morals.

Scott Pruitt, the scandal-plagued former head of the EPA who has since resigned, was one of the latest Trump officials to be harassed while dining at a restaurant. (RELATED: Administration Official Scott Pruitt Is Latest Harassment Victim of Harassment While Dining).

While most of the targets of harassment have been Republican women, it hasnt been exclusive. Here is a short list of incidents involving harassment of former or current Trump administration officials:

• Pruitt was confronted by a teacher at a DC eatery.
• Sarah Sanders at the Red Hen.
• Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen was chased out of a Mexican restaurant.
• Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi was chased out of a screening of a movie about Mr. Rogers.
• Mitch McConnell and his wife, Department of Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao, were accosted at Georgetown University.
• McConnell was again harassed after leaving a lunchtime meeting with a colleague.
• Steve Bannon, the former White House chief strategist, was called a piece of trash while shopping at a local bookstore.
• Kellyanne Conway was stopped at a grocery store and told she should be ashamed of (her)self.
• White House Senior Adviser Stephen Miller was cursed at and chased out of a sushi restaurant.

Most of the list above happened after Rep. Maxine Waters instructed her followers to publicly harass White House officials.

If you see anybody from that cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them, and you tell them theyre not welcome anymore, anywhere, she said.

The obedient cultists of the Democrat Party have followed her advice. Its time, as Sanders said, to calm down before the rhetoric translates to escalated harassment and, God forbid, violence.

Its not uncommon to broadcast live from the steps of the Supreme Court during a newsworthy event. Even more so when the President of the United States is announcing his pick for a vacancy on the court that could shape America for decades to come.

Very volatile protesters, however, many of whom had no little to no idea who President Trumps pick of D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Brett Kavanaugh even is, shut down one such broadcast. 

Fox News host Shannon Bream had planned on doing a live show from the steps of the Supreme Court but had to pick up shop and head back to the studio when she felt threatened by the unruly mob around her.

Bream reported that police were shutting down the street as a means to regain control of the situation.

She followed that announcement with an update less than one hour later indicating she and the production crew simply had to get off the street and head back to the safety of the studio.

As you might expect, liberals took the opportunity to mock Bream for being a snowflake due to her decision to go back to the studio.

One, Bream is not intimidated by very much. Two, liberal protesters have grown increasingly unhinged in the last few weeks, and another SCOTUS pick for Trump will surely escalate their wild behavior. Three, it wasnt all that long ago that an unhinged leftist shot up a softball field in Virginia, so the threat is pretty real.

FoAmericans have every right to protest, but they do not have the right to put the safety of others in jeopardy.

 

x News later described the scene as tense with some protesters screaming back and forth at each other amid a heavy law-enforcement presence.

With many incidents of harassment lately involving women who are seen as siding with the President, is it any wonder Bream, a fair and balanced Fox News reporter, decided to get out of Dodge? 

Thankfully, Shannon Bream was able to make it back to the Fox News studios unharmed, but she should have been able to anchor her show from the steps of the Supreme Court without fearing for her safety.
