Not quite sure how sound of a strategy this is... however it would seem the new Ford's CEO says that it will only build two types of sedans the Mustang (2 door Sports Sedan) and the Ford Focus (Compact Economy 2 and 4 door) and of course, they will keep making their bread and butter trucks. lol

It's one thing to out-source components & even build cars overs-seas for local markets, but to take them out-of-circulation spells doom & gloom IMO.
I'd hate to see PowerStroker out-of-a-job.
I'm not sure if decisions like this are helping make 'merica great again....

PowerStroker is safe from any fall out, if anything it will only get better for him since he is a Ford Truck mechanic and Ford does not plan on cutting back on truck production - rather increasing it!
Ford's recently introduced a 3.0 liter Diesel engine for use in the F150 which I'd be real curious to know more about, but that's also PowerStrokers specialty - Diesel.

Gas prices are rising! I hope Trump runs Fords into bankruptcy! Just like Obama did to GM while giving Daimler Benz a massive windfall before they got another windfall by selling Chrysler to Fiat.
Fords has always thought they were beyond reproach, even from day one... You can have any color model T you want, so long as it's black.
Ford, you can have any chapter bankruptcy you want, so long as it's bankruptcy.
