I have a Barclay's "Ring" card, no affiliation between them and Amazon mind you, but they no longer offer the Barclays Ring card anymore, probably because of name conflicts with Amazon's Ring products and services... Explains why my limit was cut on that card, but I still use it for them sketchy transactions where you don't want a high limit card number blowing around in the breeze... I am curious if Barclays will completely shut down the Ring card, and if my next card I am sent when it expires will still say Barclays Ring.

You might be surprised! The best camera is a camera people would never figure you had! Lots of farmers using this stuff now days, pumps the video right to your phone on the fly while you're combining the field.

And each time you drive down your country road, Earl down the road has a video of you cruising by courtesy of his door-bell camera that faces the road...

You just never know, and at the prices some of these units are selling for, under $100 with a full suite of software and free apps to access the feed - lots of people are buying them. Even the police in some areas are just giving them away just to have access to them in the event of a crime or other such thing. They now even have these ring communities were entire sub divisions can link up and pass information and access around. You have to figure that every singe one that uses the software is now a prying eye because it's not the hackers you have to worry about as much as the people who run the software because they have ways of viewing that won't be detected I am sure. I mean heck, the video feeds right thru their software and servers anyway!
