It would seem that Democrat darling AOC (Ocasio-Cortez) may have been less than honest in her filings to become a congresswoman.. Reports that she didn't even know what district she lived in when she filed for the neighboring 15th district before changing the error a few days later! Her postman of 10 years claims their mailbox is not checked often and that mail piles up in her box! Neighbors to her apartment claim they have NEVER seen her coming and going and local businesses claim she has only visited their stores for photo shoots.

And while she is a congresswoman for New York, she has a $1,900 a month studio apartment in D.C. that she is listed as the lease holder.

Enough is enough! If they are going to grill Trump for collusion and waste all this money on something they know is false, then why are they letting people like AOC slide!? In my opinion she is trash and has probably lived her entire life on fake addresses or the addresses of other people - she is funneling campaign money to her boyfriend and on top of all that she is completely unqualified for her position!

Most members of Congress also have an apartment or house in D.C. Otherwise where would they live while working?

Does Fox spend this much effort investigating the living situations of all members of Congress, or has she just become a special hobby?

I think as usual you're purposely failing to acknowledge the facts.. She may not have lived in the district that she took office for! There are requirements in place to ensure someone running for congressional districts are actually made up of people from them districts.

I don't dislike Cortez for her drive and ambition, I just think she is incredibly fake - like most Democrats. She was and continues to be groomed, as her livelyhood and ego become more and more wrapped up in politics she will soon become a spokesperson trying to maintain a personal connection rooted in deception. I trust her no more, or less than any other politician in that regard. She has big teeth, yet she is very attractive and wears bright red lipstick to draw the attention off them donkey teeth she has. I understand my thoughts on her looks have nothing to do with her job or qualifications but I also must draw attention to the fact that her outfits, travels and upkeep have to be enormous in of themselves. 

All that said, if she did lie it's better to weed her out now before she has a chance to pull another fast one on us. That is my whole reason for making the thread! Opinionated as some of it may be.

Rashid M-fer Talib was not living in the district she ran for either, claimed she lived at her fathers house, he is the one ratted her out. He disowned her for it to and Kamala father disowned her for the Jamacan and weed comment.

PS. actually there was a big deal on many live right there in their offices! Think Ryan was even one of them.

Very interesting revelations I must say Shawnee! I had heard about both but I have been sort of waiting to hear what becomes of a situations like these? 

Currently this Mueller investigation is dwarfing everything and giving a lot of people cover. Such a shame, we could be so much further ahead!

Soon the Cows will have fart balloons hanging off their asses... How much longer before Democrats deem that humans need to hardness their own gas? They already collect all the solid and liquid waste, filter it and then feed it back to us. Soon they hope we can fart our way to energy independence.

FYI fellas, The Constitution states members of Congress be 25 years old, a US Citizen, and live in the STATE they represent (not necessarily the same district).

Republicans do this too. If I recall correctly, Darrell Issa changed districts because he knew he was about to lose to a Dem in the district he had been representing.

Did you read the KY one? District for 1 year prior.

I don't see why state and fed can be mixed like that. Possibly MN and NY have a law similar to KY? I dunno

Perhaps she was commuting from NJ, or lived in Boston?

That could be the only logical explanation.

It's not my business anyhow to know where she resides...That would be an invasion-of-privacy, or even grounds for stalking...

 Some states (actually very few) require the candidate live in the district for a minimum of one year...

If she is running for public office YES it is your business...

 

This goes for both sides of the aisle most states follow the federal guideline, some states amended their State Constitution to add additional limits within their state

 

They can not remove federal requirements, but they are allowed under the 10th amendment to add restrictions...

 

THIS is actually WHY the 10th amendment exists...

 

This is all basic civics...

 

It was twisted following the Civil War to create Jim Crow...which was COMPLETELY erased (from the LAW) in 1968.

 

AOC can have multiple addresses but she must maintain residency in New York...

 

And a PO Box does not meet the requirement...

 

LOTS of people live in New Jersey and commute...

 

If she was living in New Jersey and ran for a district in New York she could be removed from office..

 

I do not know where she lived...but I do care...

 

If Talib lived in Michigan the fact that she did not live in her district  is probably a non issue...I am not familiar with each states constitution...

 

I remember the issue with Darrel Issa was a non issue because he was a residence of California and California has no additional requirements...

 

 

Now if Darrel Issa (R) or AOC (D) or Talib (D) ANYONE regardless of party...is picking a district that can be easily won just to get in that is a problem...

 

Not hard to be remedied...simple make sure you relocate to the state you wish to run in (or district in states that require)  and live there one year before running for public office..

 

but YES people should be forced to do this...

 

otherwise it is a fraud and no longer a true representative republic...
