Rastus had one-of-his posts screened, & then banned from submission, so I thought it was necessary to take a "mandatory vacation"...And a much needed one, as I'd been Trumped...
The good thing about this forum "WAS" its "freedom-of-speech" policy, but it seems that Russia (( Trump policy )) "has" infiltrated this hallowed, & sacred site, & destroyed its freedom policies...
Anyhow, too much politics makes me angry & then ill, so a break had to be taken under doctors orders lol.
For what it's worth, little Oz had a Federal election a few weeks ago, & I think that the Liberal Party won again, though I haven't bothered to check officially. I voted for the Greens & the independents.

I'd really like to hear what you're talking about with regards to ANY post being screened!? You were never banned either, so what happened? If something is going on behind the scenes I need to know about it!
I doubt Russia has anything to do with this site because it's hosted out of Vancouver British Columbia, so if anyone was silencing you it was H.M. III.
Still I really would like to hear about this post that was allegedly screened and then banned because I have never seen that before! I know PowerStroker was having some problems with a certain thread awhile back and I know Clarity regularly defeats the auto-spam filter by giving it a good ole' three tap (meaning you just post the damn thing three times in a row and MAKE it take it), but on occasion I will sign into the Administrator account and bulk approve all auto-flagged comments. Right after this post I will log in with the Administrator account and see about any auto-flagged post.
Anyway, it's great to hear you're okay! I was starting to worry that perhaps you got hurt on your bike or a large spider carried you off! I even started to wonder if perhaps you really did chase down one of them UFO's and got abducted! lol, not even kidding! I was thinking, well if he has passed I guess when my songs go platinum I won't have to share any of the royalties for the background music he posted! LOL!

I'm not sure of the thread title where I got screened, but I was told that the the "admin" had to screen my post first, before it would be posted-up...(This happened just after I posted-up the late, great, & much missed Mr.Nixon's photo in Chicago, on the 1968 campaign).
The "mandatory vacation" was my decision, just to get the TDS out-of-my system lol !
All I meant by Russia, is that the US-of-A appears to be running politically as Russia / USSR once did...Not a good sign for the West !...When us folks here have to be-careful with what we say & post, means the times-are-bad, & slipping into a military-like-governed nation...Think KGB...
No UFO's spotted just yet lol ! But it was around this time last year that we did have one floating around consistently...We'll see if he's back again soon enough,though days like today where it's foggy-all-day, & the temperature barely rises to 40-degrees your scale, that make it hard to spot him, even if he's there...
Platinum sounds good ! I'll check-out the V-8 cafe & look for your vocals on Zephyr lol !

Glad to have you back Rastus! Dealing with these characters on my own can be tiresome.
Thanks guys ( & gals ) ! And thanks for understanding too ! Too much internet & politics dries-me-out over time, though most people suffer the same at some point I guess.
I really missed visiting, but needed the time to cool-down completely & not be troubled anymore with the world-wide censorship, spying, & general BS going on yadda, yadda, yadda...
With a little luck, I'll be better tempered to handle next onslaught of our world policy discussions lol, & not be too troubled with censorship anymore. The world is changing, & I have no choice but to tow-the-line or be left-behind.

Back 14 years or so ago, when I first opened the forum I thought it was kind of funny - since the big thing back then was to command a sizable post count, aka "post whoring".. back then it was an accepted when done tastefully, such as a three word post or a current events thread. We like to call these types of people "passionate", but the rest of them like Stoma and myself? Well, I think Stoma might have cracked 10k but he has a rather large personality and an interesting way with words and punctuation, but even Stoma could not have pulled off such a feat in such little time as you. You're definitely in the "passionate" group.
