The US-of-A & its energy needs, goals & hoaxes...

Yo people,

I thought I'd share this very important video-clip with y'all, so that "you" gain a much better understanding of your DOE, your personal needs, your participation in helping the environment, & to prove that the solutions are here, right now....

And most importantly, the opportunity for the US-of-A  to become a world leader in environmental solutions, & mentor the way to a brighter, healthier future for us all...

It's up to you !!!

 LOL !

No, not-at-all. I'm only suggesting that the US-of-A not be left behind...And if MAGA is the most important idealism in the nations mind, this would be a great place to start IMO.

Exactly how is it you feel the USA would get left behind?

We do more to reduce our emission that the rest of the planet by leaps and bounds...

We simply do not believe in allowing government to dictate technology...

EXAMPLE: we would have gone to HEMP 100 years ago if not for the government forcing cotton over hemp...

We should have gone to hemp long ago...it is a better solution...

the private sector will find the CORRECT technology....governments will only push an agenda right or wrong...

HEMP V COTTON is proof of this....

Why is it up to the United States???

The USA only generates about 20% of our energy needs from nuclear fission...

Hell Japan generates over 30% of their energy production from nuclear fission...

WE get 80% of our power from other means than nuclear...

Nuclear power has risk...all energy production comes with risk....

The argument that nuclear is not GREEN because it is has dangers is a LIE...

nuclear is green in that it does not rely on FOSSIL FUEL...

every type of energy production has some form of carbon foot print....

wind turbines create more carbon in creation of the equipment than they will ever reduce...

At present wind and solar simply can not generate enough power to meet the demand...

I will agree (concede) our current use of nuclear is not the correct approach...

That does not mean that all nuclear possibilities should be abandoned...

A young man from Arizona Taylor Wilson has developed a prototype to generate power to sustain a average US home for 30 years using existing nuclear waste as fuel...

People like you who do not truly know or understand the science and just spread fear are the problem...

Just like the the combustion engine was developed to rid the world of the waste byproduct (gasoline) of refining crude oil.

We allowed technology to solve the problem...and we further allowed technology to reduce the pollution created from the use of combustion engine technology...

but it must be left in the free market to be developed as the government will just push a single agenda and it does not actually care if the solution they back is the correct one or not...

Whoa !!! A few big posts coming up LOL !

R1. A great many countries across the globe, particularly Europe are ridding themselves of Nukes & adopting renewable energy sources. The people of the US-of-A need to demand clean, safe & renewable energy sources, especially since its being proven that Nukes, & the pollution expelled kills people.

R2. The US-of-A wouldn't even agree to sign the Kyoto-treaty.

R3. Your government & its officials are "controlled" by major energy corporations.

R4. Agreed, hemp can convert  approximately 4-times more Co2 than any tree.

And on to the next post....

R1. The choices are up to the good people of the US-of-A, & acted upon by the elected officials via election promises (lol)...At the moment, corporations fund election campaigns. Money=speech. This needs to change.

R2. True.

R3. True.

R4. True.

R5. True. But remember here, that when nukes go wrong, it's a world-wide life extinction event. In another 10-years we'll all regretfully start to feel the effects of Fukushima Daiichi, & suffer accordingly...

R6. On average, every nuke-plant once a year has to depressurize the containment vessels for inspection, expelling over 2000 man-made radionuclides into the environment, killing innocent people like you & me, along with plants & animals, as the radionuclides attach themselves & destroy DNA.

R7. Actually, it does...Transport & mining needs at the Uranium mines, ship fuel, & other transport needs like rail, all consume fossil-fuels to get it to the nuke-plant.

R8. Of course, no argument here.

R9. And the building of a nuke-plant doesn't ???....

R10. They're getting better & better...And there's no world-extinction-event when things go-to-pot....And you can fix them almost straight away, & not wait 100-years like Fukushima to do so.

R11. Thanks !

R12. We've had nukes for over 70 years now, & there's still no solution for the waste, or what to do with an old nuke-plants contents when it's been decommissioned.

R13. Bill Gates & his side-kick scientist estimate over 750-years worth of power from the current waste levels...Of which, most are currently stored in Kentucky...( Sorry Shawnee, but it's true my friend )...

R14. I have what's now called a "Bachelor of Marine Engineering", & there are ships that have nukes as power sources, so I've studied at University level a little about the science, as it involves propulsion needs...It's all about what you use to boil water, to make steam, to turn a turbine-wheel, with a generator attached to the end of the turbine shaft.

Anyhow, I survey the whole science, & take my position based on scientific research from Doctors, Physicists, Chemists, Biologists, & Nuclear Industry "whistle blowers" who are decent human beings, & would rather reveal the truth about nukes, than collect a nuclear-paycheck. Arnie Gundersen at Fairewinds Energy Education along with many others are the source of my main knowledge, that I try to re-convey as best as possible here. I'm all about informing people about the truth, not the fear-mongering. The truth however is quite overwhelming to comprehend, but it needs to be shared with people, for their own safety, & the generations ( if we're lucky ) to come. I admit to not being an expert for sure, but I whole-heartedly believe in people like Mr.Gunderson. In fact, he'd make a most excellent President IMHO.

R15.Hmmm, errr...I thought that the combustion-engine was developed for military purposes, so as to become a speedier way of travel than horse-back...Cars, ships & aeroplanes all still use this form of energy conversion...( Converting liquid fuel with stored energy into useful mechanical propulsion via combustion ).

R16. Technology ( once again ) has always been used for military purposes, first & foremost.

R17. You're possibly correct here, but I believe that while "the shot-gun sings the song", meaning the Military Industrial Complex, the US-of-A will likely be held-back until another great destructive technology takes over, such as non-ionizing radiation, as found with our G3 wi-fi devices...

Ciao,

Rastus

Ciao,

Yes while what you state is technically true...what you seem to want to gloss over is the simple truth that the fuel that drove the technology was the waste byproduct of refining crude...Rockefeller had silo's of it and knew we could not just dispose of such a volatile liquid.

How the FREE market capitalized on it is what is important...not government mandates...government has a role to regulate private market for safety reasons...this is why we have so many regulations for automobiles today, why we took the LEAD out of gas...

My point is the government is wanting to take CONTROL over energy production...and dictate the technology we go forward with....and the same government was WRONG 100 years ago when it forced HEMP out of the market...

The United States has not been expanding current nuclear power production...we are not shutting them down but we are not moving that direction...We are a leader in solar technology, we should be looking at using the power of the ocean and the tides to generate power...

We can agree there are better ways to generate power and I think we agree we will always have a need to generate power...where we seem to disagree is in placing such issues in the direct hands of government...

While I am not a fan of the "Military Industrial Complex"

I think you have a distorted understanding of just what that means...

The actual "Military Industrial Complex" is about how much of the United States economy as a whole depends on that sector...

If you are somehow convinced you do not think the biggest dick on the planet still plays a HUGE role in who does what on the planet you are fooling yourself...

at the same time the military as a whole does not dictate technology or drive it...it just uses what it wants when it comes up....

The space race was a huge part of the United States dominance in technology post world war II, NASA was created SPECIFICALLY to take it out of military control.

It was Eisenhower that warned of the Military Industrial Complex and NASA was created because of his fears...

Yes indeed, Mr.Eisenhower was very-much blessed with an ability to see into the future, as his farewell address to the nation reveals. Warning about the Military Industrial Complex & even computers in his speech is quite remarkable, & even more relevant today, since the world has taken the path of which he warned.

It's well worthy IMO to post a link of this speech, so those that have not heard these words, hear the great man speak & warn us.

Yo folks,

Here's an article from World Nuclear News, where the US-of-A has just invested over $600,000,000:00 in a new Super Computer called "El Capitan", to be located in California sometime soon. Read on !

My point is nuclear does not require fossil fuels in generating the energy...

YOU are obviously afraid of nuclear power....that does not mean the rest of the world is going to move away from it...

 LOL !

R1. True ! But when one considers that the last Nuke plant State-side that was started to be built in the 1980's, is still not finished, & approx. 3-times-overbudget, obviously speaks volumes about how shyte they are. The industry seems concerned in saying that it leaves "no carbon" footprint in operation, but fails to tell you about the other 2000+ radionuclides it will release during its time in operation.

R2. True. But it makes over 2000 toxic radionuclides in its operation, & there's still no safe way to store the high-level waste, that stays toxic for over 250,000-years, & then some...

R3. Of course not, everyone knows that the US-of-A is lead by corporations. The Nuke Industry being one-of-them...Typically its a finger on the hand of the Military Industrial Complex...Which is another conglomerate of Corporations, vested in self interest.

R4. I'm scared of stupidity...And if the human race hasn't discovered that the Nuke Industry has NO positives, then we are stupid, & I'm scared...

The "Global Warming Swindle" & Climate Crisis (lol) will be well & truly over before any Nuke Plant state-side is completed lol !

They be taxing us on the methane gasses that cows emit, & forcing us to each soy-bean-meat at Hungry Jacks lol !

Welcome to a planet filled with people...

Unfortunately people disagree on many issues from many angles...

On nuclear we disagree in basic principal...you want to rid the planet of the use of nuclear fission...I do not...and I have zero financial goals involved with the industry...

You use a bullshit generic statement that the USA is owned buy the nuclear energy industry...

when we do not even rely on nuclear energy as much as Japan does...many countries use nuclear energy...not just the USA...

We have Hydro, coal, fuel oil, natural gas and a small amount of wind and solar...

our demands in the USA require more than wind and solar can produce...within the current technology...

Hydro is geographical dependent...

that leaves all the ones your side also wants to get rid of...coal, fuel oil, methane and natural gas...

I like these discussions lol !

R1. Yes, & not only that, immigration everywhere too.

R2. That's life.

R3. All I have to say about Nukes, is that there's  life extinction-event-possibility that comes with with every Nuke plant. Their primary use is for the manufacture of Plutonium, for weapons of mass destruction. Being able to make some electricity is a side-bonus. No one has ever made any money by using Nukes. Its after effects are paid for by the public in both death & taxes.

R4. The US-of-A's political system is manipulated by greedy, self preserving parasites, that create fantasy & false-flag events in the interests of their own self-sustainment. Your political elite abuse your political system like a revolving door to sustain this evil. Ask yourself this, what is Dick Cheney up to now ?...And what are / were his movements over the last 20-years in a professional sense ?...

R5. This is correct too. There's an international board / cartel known as the IAEA that promote Nukes for peaceful use. It's funny to watch the news & all the war-mongering appear, & yet on World Nuclear News, everyone is smiling & happy...Nukes are a relatively small industry, & any new-build is of great worth in income to this cartel, the IAEA & the contractors involved. These folks know all the results & damage of when these nukes fail, & yet keep it secret from the public, for the interest of self-preservation.

R6. There's apparently a great number of wind-turbines too that have started their energy creation around 30-miles at sea, off the NY state coast. This is a good thing IMO. And if we could stop ripping out billions of trees a year, it's likely that the conversion rate of our CO2 emissions would be far greater, & less pressure on government to come up with answers. We must also remember that a vast amount of great inventions to reduce our emissions have been bought-out, & withheld by our fossil-fuel industries...

In other words, solutions have been here for a long time, but production of these new methods withheld by current producers, so as to prolong their existence, & money making.

R7. In time, this will change for the better, if we make it IMO.

R8. I may have liberal leanings by nature, but I don't pick sides. I always vote for the small independents, namely the Greens I suppose.

YES you do pick sides...

You are not just a liberal you are ignorant as many of the stuff you go on about is simply not true...

like it is the presidents job to balance the budget...it is the job of Congress (Congress has always controlled the spending)

It is not stupidity...it is ignorance, you repeat the same old bullshit the left wing has tried to use for decades...

an intelligent person can be ignorant when they refuse to listen to actual facts simply because they do not fit the narrative they wish to push...

4.It is not stupidity...it is ignorance, you repeat the same old bullshit the left wing has tried to use for decades...

5.an intelligent person can be ignorant when they refuse to listen to actual facts simply because they do not fit the narrative they wish to push...

 LOL !!!

R1. Here in Oz, when elections come, if I don't vote, I get fined. So I have to pick someone don't I ?...And I'd rather cast my vote to someone who wants to preserve & manage our finite resources, rather than someone who wants to simply cash-in on them.

R2. Confusedt...Could you elaborate a little please ?...

R3. You better let Clarity know about that one. She seems to think that the sun itself rises out of Mr.Trumpdt's ass.

R4. Stupidity & ignorance go hand-in-hand IMO. What is it that I've said, that is the same as what the liberals have said for decades ?

R5. I'm not writing or reading a narrative I'm sorry. And as for facts, I always promote coverage from all over the world to this website. From Moscow, to China & Germany & France, so as folks State-side get a glimpse of others opinion from around the world. I don't believe its possible to actually get the "truth" per-se in today's world, but surveying the whole, helps point us to a better perspective on matters.

There's a hell-of-a-lot I DON'T say, out of simple respect to my friends here, on this site. I try to inform, but without the insult or prejudice where possible. I also try to get-a-laugh out of matters, but it doesn't always translate too well sometimes.

That is a very LEFT WING narrative, that is simply not true...

Yes we have had solar and wind technology for sometime...it is not technology being withheld...it does not generate enough power to meet the demand...and most likely never will...

While they may serve as solid alternatives, they are just not strong enough to replace the technology the left wants the world to abandon...

Coal is cheap and efficient and does not have a HUGE carbon foot print...smaller carbon footprint than fuel oil and only slightly larger than natural gas...

We have also used technology to reduce carbon emission from coal powered plants...technology that other countries are still not utilizing because it is not cheap...

The USA is light years ahead of many countries in being greener than most...we are not as green as Europe but we have 5 times the energy demands...

And most of the green technology Europe is using was developed by the USA...
