Is Britain's Prince Harry a Royal pain, or not even Royalty at all?

Yes I do recall that Shawnee, I think we even talked about it in the other thread about the Royals.

I showed my wife the photo and she said there are some similarities in the way they squint, however she could offer no other similarities. Still, she says it's possible but that's just a woman for you! lol

My main question here is this, if they did not want all the popularity then why did they get married in such a grand fashioned? It was televised the world over and its not like an electric convertible E-Type Jaguar is very low profile, in fact it's about as flashy as you can get! Even a horse drawn coach would have been more low key! So they want the fame, they just dont want to be bothered with the responsibility and accountably that comes with it! And I guess you could say that bothers me!

If by chance one of the Royals might be reading this and takes offense with my questioning Prince William's and his brothers actual fathers, they can pack it in because my father had me DNA tested before I had to stop hearing about it! And he came from England too!

So all that said, it would seem that the rest of the Royals seem to be getting on just fine, but Meghan and Harry just want to be different! They want the attention and everything that goes with being a Royal but they don't want to take on any of the responsibilities and commitments that such a title entails. That is real shame, because honestly I can't think of a time where I seen an article about them where I thought "Gee I really wanted to know this", except perhaps for their actual wedding whereas they invited all the big stars and made a big spectacle of themselves! Now they want to take it all back, but it's too late!

Yes but only to other people who are British citizens... for the rest of the free world Royalty has never been a good look and closely resembles dictatorship and the mid-evil days in the eyes of many.

Here in America we are all Royals. We elect and re-elect people to play the part for set amounts of terms.. Except you might say a Supreme Court Justice is almost a royal title given it's permeant tenure, but they have Cannon's to abide by or they can be de-throned.

I suppose what you're trying to say, Shawnee, is that these "Royal protocols" are not being followed and as a result the entire family is looking bad... and I guess in a way that could be true..

Except you can't dethrone Royalty, at least not the way we vote and sue people out here in the USA.

I also think it's safe to say Royals are never de-throned because the monarchy in England has been pretty much the same family forever. I am not talking about these Kangaroo monarchies like in Iran, or Pakistan where no-ones ever heard of them anyway - the real ones! LOL

In that movie clip above for the movie "coming to America" it shows the last scene where Eddy Murphy renounces his thrown on a subway train because he was a royal in some African nation that come to America to find his bride. In the movie the Prince comes to America (Queens New York) to find his bride - yet he does not want a woman to love him for his money and royalty so he got a lowly job and pretended to be a poor goat herder. He meets a girl and then she finds out he is not a goat herder and so explains the tail end clip of the movie posted above.

But here is the catch, I am positive Meghan knew Harry was a Prince well before Harry even knew who Meghan was, and that changes a lot. In other words, Meghan knew EXACTLY what she was getting herself into. As a TV celebrity you have to know she chased and fantasized about this Royal whirlwind relationship and she was quick to squirt out a pup! So in my mind both Harry and Meghan are just seeking attention any way they can get it, much like how a little kid does to get attention. It's really quite pathetic, they should live their lives in private if that is what they want, but that is NOT what they want... It's like they are trying to garner sympathy from the people with the objective of overthrowing the legitimate Prince and future King. That is my personal opinion anyway, they claim they don't want the attention but they still live off the crown. It's screwed up...

It's hardly shocking... what would be shocking is if they actually cut off Prince Harry!

I am currently having a similar issue with my oldest son... I want to cut him off so badly! He has totally got his priorities out of whack and as much as I'd like to see him succeed and become independent, I can't help but to feel he is taking advantage of the situation.

I'd imagine it's the same for any family... finding the balance is the tricky part. Cut them off completely and what comes back might not be the same as what you put out, might not even survive to come back at all! We could hear of Prince Harry being pulled out of a Hollywood crack house and living like a bum in the streets of LA a few years from now after Meghan gets done twisting his pecker driven little mind... To me Meghan is not even remotely attractive, but that is one of them "in the eye of the beholder" sort of things.

We will see... The only advice I can give to anyone going thru something like this is to do your best to keep the ship true regardless of the storm.

I too am a great friend of the UK myself, however things have just gotten way out of hand over there! Their weakness and constant attempts to align themselves with liberal thinking is a danger to the world!
