Makes you wonder if the odometers rolled over, or if they had been disconnected while in use. On older vehicles like that you could literally disconnect the cable by hand!
Something is not right about this whole story because it makes no sense for someone to go thru the trouble to store them all this time out in the elements. Makes about as much sense as taking a shit right after a shower!
Shame though, but if true I suppose someone will be happy to get the parts who is restoring one - even if they will be disgusted knowing they are cutting up a low mile classic.
Been seeing a lot of stories on the internet about vehicle hordes being found, barns completely full of old vintage cars and what not. I myself personally only have one car I am saving but I still drive it several times a year. Makes no sense to horde a bunch of cars and then pass away without cashing in on, or enjoying them.
I live by the rule that keeping miles off your car so the next guy can enjoy it is a lot like not fucking your wife to keep her tighter for the next guy... Not happening on my watch on either account! LOL

They mentioned one "idea" of why they were stored. I don't accept it though. Make room for the new year? Nahhh Ever heard of any dealership putting new inventory on a lot to rot? Noooo, they have clearance sales, reduce inventory sales, make room for new model sales...
