Even if I were to agree that all of that medical research, transportation improvements, and foreign aid was waste (and I don't necessarily btw). By my math the entirety of the waste found by senator Paul amounts to a little over $230 million... Which equals .05% of the total 2019 federal budget. That said, I'd say the government is an awfully efficient organization if it only wastes .05% of its budget. Hell, I can't think of a single private enterprise that has so little waste as a percentage of their budget. I'd venture that senator Pauls's office has a much higher percentage of waste than the US government as a whole... At least if putting out this kind of propaganda is any indication of how he spends the taxpayer dollars allotted to his office anyway.
Well good on him for being so responsible. Perhaps the president could follow his example by not charging taxpayers to fly him and his security detail to MaraLago every week?
