Ah well, I can't help but to feel like not many big bargains were to be had on Black Friday either... This is the first year in awhile I did not even bother to venture out on black Friday!
The past few years I haven't been going out on Thanksgiving day for the pre-Black Friday events either, if only because the hype just wasn't sufficient... Never mind the fact that the Thanksgiving paper is now $5! And where else are you going to get the list of all the sales going on? I guess for people with small kids and such, they would still be hitting the stores in search of them special toys and gifts but as for me? I dunno.. I haven't even put up my Christmas lights this year! Probably because my oldest blew up the truck that we usually get our firewood and Christmas tree in, and because my old Mercedes that used to do this job is still on the back burner while we fix all the cars that the kid has broken! LOL, so... It's possible we could have a gallon of whiskey for our Christmas tree this year!
But seriously, it's looking like a last minute Christmas gift shopping season this year, which usually turns into a quick stop at the liquor store to buy gift box sets on the way to various destinations and parties! LOL
Why fight it... This year I'll just be happy everyone is okay and still with us! I am thinking Cash might be the best gift of 2019 - that and lots of liquor...

Sending a little cash for everyone is always good, just pop-it inside the card. ( Why not print out a few of the Trumpdt million dollar notes for a laugh, & throw them in too lol )?
Enjoy your drinking too, but let's all be sensible about it if we're goin' on the road, & have to get back home later...
Surely your wife has some ideas, or bought stuff already ?...

More or less what I was trying to say is there didn't seem to be very many super deals this year... Unlike years past were there were newsworthy doorbuster sales I just didn't see that this year...
