They intentionally lied and manipulated, they even preemptively moved to monopolize on it. They did not shut down the airports but they shut down Wuhan.

That being said, India is the only country that can match China's numbers in terms of population... A billion people is a LOT of people! I think India has three times more people than we do here in the USA. I wonder how India and the USA stack up in terms of land mass size? In terms of sheer size of the land, is India about the same size as the United States, or is it much smaller? I know often times maps and globes do not accurately represent size differences but I figure it's something you would probably know off hand.
