Postal Service furor a 'ploy by Democrats to raise money from gullible liberals'

That about sums it up!

Just another bullshit narrative by the left!

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/tom-cotton-usps-controversy-ploy-by-democrats

No one is more gullible than PowerStroker!

Well gosh, if Republican senator Tom Cotton says so... Actually I'll wait for the Congressional investigation and actual journalism to inform me of the truth. I have a feeling it will contradict Tom Cotton's appraisal of the situation, as usual.

Apparently the resident Republican judge on Fox "News" is one of these "gullible liberals" of which you speak.

What don't you get PowerStroker? We are tired of your bullshit investigations that all end up pointing to your party after wasting countless millions!

How many times is your party going to cry wolf? It's been more than three times! I think it's clear that your party has FAILED the American people in the most profound way!

Obama pulled 14,000 mail boxes under his tenure and it wasn't a big deal! Not a PEEP!

Post office was on it's way to insolvency WAY BEFORE the election started heating up! Have you ever had to deal with customer service over the phone with the USPS? I guess not!

If you're not old, deployed or out of town on vacation you should be voting at the polls!

This must be the third time we have gone over the jaded wanna-be Judge Napolitano who was passed over for a White House position by Trump and has been sore about it every since.

We might as well call him Mitt Romney or John McCain!

If you're suggesting Trump's impeachment was one, I would remind you the evidence against him remains so overwhelming that even a Republican senator agreed. Which is why Mitch McConnell wouldn't allow witnesses or evidence. Generally that is a sign of an actual wolf my friend.

No, generally that is a sign of a sore loser who stepped aside for McCain and then ultimatly lost to Obama... If you can't see that, then perhaps I should post some links to your post when you were ripping on Bain Capital?

Who was it that ran that horrible Bain Capital back then PowerStroker?

It's clear you are a bigot and only accept people when they 100% buy into your partisan BS... Sad really.

That's OK, not much of a big-deal appeared to be made with G.W.Bush jr.'s election results either...And they were severely corrupted...

If you show up late to the polls you don't get to vote.

If your mail in ballot shows up late it's the same thing!

Guess people should just show up on time election day to vote!

Simple as that!

How many times did you want them to recount it?

I am sure Broward county needed another ten times so they could go on an average.

Solemani was a wolf and your party cried anyway. The fuck had bounty's on the heads of GI's and the left loves him.

Um no we don't. We just question the wisdom of offing him like that. It almost started a shooting war with Iran, and we prefer to think these things through a little more first.

Putin has put bounties on the heads of US soldiers, and Trump won't say or do anything about it. As a former airman, does that bother you?

Yeah, because kicking the back door open in Pah-KEE-Stahn and raiding Bin Laden's secret lair was much less subtle than a drone strike on an empty road in the desert.

And with regards to Russian bounties, I will require PROOF! You know the reputiable news desk link requirement for liberal propaganda!

So the House just passed a bill to give the USPS $25 billion dollars... I guess they figure $25 billion is the cost to steal the election and get the Postal Services' help...

I have some serious concerns with this $25 billion comming from tax payers rather than increases on companies like Amazon or any other "bulk" rate customers who make billions off of sales... Just feels like we are giving all the Jeff Bezos' and Amazon's of the world another $25 billion dollars. Why can't they raise their bulk rate for companies? I don't shop on Amazon so I don't really care what they charge them! Make them pay full price like the rest of us!

I don't think it's the first class letters that are killing the post office, I think it's all the packages dumped at the sorting centers by Amazon and China for pennies on the dollar! Make them pay!

I don't really object to raising the bulk rates, just as long as it is done across the board and not just to a specific few companies that rub you the wrong way. Right now the post office is a shit show, and it was made that way intentionally by your party. We need to fix it, we need to get the partisan hacks out of it, and then we can worry about making it a self-supporting agency again later. The Post Office is non partisan, and they have nothing to do with rigging elections. They deliver mail, and as part of that, they deliver ballots. If you question the legitimacy of the ballots of a specific jurisdiction, you should investigate that jurisdiction, not blow up the entire postal service.

Don't kill the messenger.

WRONG POWERSTROKER!

Did you not even read my post!? The Republicans did not cause a 200% jump in mail surge! The Wuhan-Flu did!

You still don't get it..

As someone who sells a little online I pay FULL PRICE for my shipping! That should mean that as a citizen paying FULL PRICE my package gets priority over ANY company that is getting a bulk rate discount! I mention Amazon because they are the biggest abuser, but without a doubt this 200% surge in shipping isn't just from Amazon, it's from almost all online retailers.

I have already gone over the need for people to show up at the polls in person, and not just have their ballots harvested outside the watchful eyes of election officials who preserve the voice of the most vulnerable. I cannot get a plate or drivers licence by mail because they require identification in person, I feel the vote shouldn't be any different. The whole USPS scam is just another bullshit story your party has picked up and run with knowing damn well that the volume of mail being processed has skyrocketed and the post office can no longer handle the sheer volume at the same discounted rates.

I dunno about that. Dems live in the major population centers. The central hubs of society, culture, education, medicine, entertainment, science, and enlightenment are predominantly Democratic in every case I can think of.

Places like Kentucky, which I don't really know what their claim to fame is, are generally Republican.

Tobacco, Corvettes, and Bourbon to name just three...

You know, seem's you're the biggest racist of them all with your stereotypes.

And FYI, most of the bright minds that build and run all the things you mention live in the suburbs and commute.

Tobacco and Bourbon yes. And while Corvettes may be assembled there, the mother company is headquartered near you, and they only assemble some cars in the south because the wages are depressed relative to the north, and they don't have to pay any union pension or good benefits. Actually Rex, you live in a suburb of one of the great population centers, and the seat of American manufacturing might.

Congrats!

BTW, I'm not racist, I'm regionist. And it's only a stereotype if it's not true.

Dude, the Corvette musem is in Kentucky too! Sure, GM makes the Corvette and is HQ'ed in Detroit, but finaly assembily is done in Bowling Green Kentucky! I wouldn't expect a pedestrian Honda owner like you to know anything about it.

With regards to your union claims, if they were true (and they are not) then ALL car manufatures would be moving to the South!

Are you suggesting someone working the line at the Bowling Green Kentucky plant making Corvettes isn't getting paid well? LOL, okay... They probably make more than you!

I wish the chart would show up better, but yeah, I couldn't live on this Rex. You don't understand just how good you have it in Michigan. Now there may be plant engineers there that make more than me, but everything I've heard says there is a huge manufacturing pay difference between the northern states wtih labor unions, and southern "Right to Work" (for less) states.

Manufacturing Salary in Bowling Green, KY

Bowling Green, KY Average

$16,680$26,733/year

Corvette Assembly Plant is Hiring Temporary Full-Time Production Workers

If building new Corvettes professionally is your dream job, keep reading!

We caught this Were Hiring! advertisement from GM for the Bowling Green Assembly Plant who are adding temporary full-time production workers as the 2020 Corvette Stingray prepares to start retail production in February 2020.

The NCM says on facebook that the candidates for these positions will come from Bowling Green and surrounding areas, no degrees required, and the positions may provide a pathway for permanent employment. The starting pay is $16.67 per hour with opportunities ranging across multiple shifts. Those hired receive benefits after 90 days.

FYI, my guarantee rate on a non productive week is twice that. And most of my weeks are productive.

It's all relative Powerstroker. I have lived all over the country, way different pay scales. Cost of living here is very low, one can live on that.

All my life I hear "I can't move there, I can't make enough" Yeah you could if you tried it. I did and was successful anywhere I moved because I "knew" that.

But that's OK, stay where your at. You'd probably vote Beshears latest proposal. %100 percent total free health care for all KY blacks. Say what????? Want 100% free health care???? do it for all KY residents equal across the board.

Absolutely. If a state is going to do free health care, do it for everyone. If not it fails. In Maine, around 2000+ a couple Gov Baldacci, worst gov the state (bankrupt the state, bankrupt his mommas restaurant, quickly, bought a new heli even though he had one),,,, ever had,,,, came up with "Dirigo health care" Cool except it benefited no one but ex cons.

It's less for sure. Just takes realizing it and making the commitment to change. Couple weeks ago I got 10# of 80-20% burger. $1.49 a pound. Not always that low but it goes there and take advantage of it.
