Apparently things have gotten so bad in North Korea that they have ordered everyone to hand over their pet dogs so they can be eaten!

So while the sanctions might be biting on North Korea, if you visit the odds are you won't be bitten by any dogs...

Yes, I saw the story the-other-day.

I'd suggest that kanine-animals are a normal part of their diet, & we shouldn't prematurely judge a culture on this basis.

Family pets are being asked for donation to FEED PEOPLE, because of SANCTIONS...

Shouldn't we be questioning the quality of so called "sanctions", by "decent, understanding & modern thinking" human beings, that would have families deprived of their own pets for food ?...
