Well it would seem that Timken, once the premium brand for automotive wheel hub bearing assemblies is now opening a manufacturing plant in Mexico of all places.

Keep that in mind when purchasing your next set of wheel bearings.

Wasn't long ago that Timken did away with it's lifetime warranty for bearings and reduced it to three years. I don't know if they have changed it back since but buying a Timken bearing can cost 10X the Asian or Mexican counterpart in some cases. 

We shall see.
