I've always thought that the 427 / 7.0-ltr was about the best bang-for-buck, but even it's more $$$ than the 572 / 9.4-ltr V-8...
The King is dead...Long live the King :) !!!
I'll just need some time to let the number "572" sink in....
*Too-bad they're not available legally for the street, that's the only bummer of the whole story...
* Interesting also to note, is that the Turbo-Hydromatic-400 is the 3-speed transmission of choice here, for all engine types. This tranny would have to be over 50-years old in design terms & original manufacture birthday.

A photograph is warranted for the "new-kid-on-the-big-block".
Hail the King of Cubes :) !!!
And kudos to Chevrolet for delivering a much-needed V-8 revamp...This massive-mother is a true sleeper, & no doubt will be king for a long time to come, as it develops over time in the Horse-power world...

Here's Chevrolet's Big-block comparison chart, should you decide to go & grab one of these beauties for yourself, via Crate-Engine order...Interesting to note that the HP-numbers are significantly up on the 572, producing in excess of 600-hp, with "Carburetors" fitted on all engines...
The engines assessed are the 427, 454, 502, & 572 Big -block V-8's.
