This is a serious question I have. I've never been to prison, but every movie I've seen shows that the inmates hang out with people of their own race, almost without fail. They do this for protection, and for other reasons. It's also clear that the white inmates will have many members that openly display swastica and Confederate battle flag tattoos, showing that their reason for only hanging out with members of their own race is also based on racism. The leader of the white group will almost always fall into this category.
So what happens when someone like Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio shows up in the cell block? He is a Cuban American white supremacist (among other things). Would he be accepted by the whites, be allowed to hang out with them and even be protected by them? Or would he hang out with the Latinos who really don't get along with the whites in prison.
What do you guys think of Enrique Tarrio generally? I suppose if you guys view him favorably, it bodes well for his acceptance into the white inmate group.
And expanding on this, what if Kanye were sent to prison, which race would he hang out with? Do you think he would be allowed in the white club too? If not, he'd probably get shived by members of his own race.
I'm not sure how to vote, but I think you watch too much TV! LOL
If I had to guess, Latino's are like Whites and Blacks -- in that they tend to stick together... I feel Whites are more accepting of other cultures but mostly because there has been this HUGE push to make it seem like only white people are racist -- when in fact that is not true at all.
My guess is he would be welcomed by both, but I'm sure he's not looking to run up his sentence getting in trouble in jail... How long was his sentence for PowerStroker? I didn't follow him much, or the proud boys -- but I'd be interested in knowing what kind of time they gave him!
You should have included a "not sure" selection in your poll -- as honestly I am not sure.
