I thought the Trump administration was going to release the Epstein documents and client list. Pam Bondi said she had them on her desk, now it seems there is reluctance, what gives? House Dems on the rules committee tried to require public release of the Epstein documents under legislation, but all but 1 Republican voted it down.
I'm not one for conspiracy theories, but this is starting to look like a real conspiracy here.
Actually, three Republicans voted to release the Epstein list.

But seriously... all kidding aside -- you know damn well Bill Clinton and MANY upper crust Democrats are on that list as well! That is why Biden and the Democrats didn't release the list either!
I want to purge my party of any Dems on that list, but I need to see the list to get started. Maybe you and I are on the same side of this issue?

Then the next thing you know, you're trying to prosecute a POTUS in state courts! It also allowed record numbers of illegal immigrants into the country! Illegal immigrants that (probably Obama) ended up getting money for healthcare and all sorts of safety net reserves that were only to be given to AMERICANS!

Good for him, I'm still glad he's dead though. I just want to see a list of people from either party who were involved so I can look forward to their downfall too.
My goal isn't to "get Trump" at this point. Trump is only the symptom of a deep sickness in this country. The voters put him in office for a second term, and I have to endure it. What motivates me more as it pertains to this case is curiosity about his political base... You see, my opinion of Trump is that he was a pretty horrible human even before he went into politics. Even back when he called himself a Democrat, I was disgusted by the man. I saw him as a pretty worthless trust fund baby, who habitually stiffed his contractors, lied, womanized, and was generally abusive to everyone. He never worked a real day in his life. Then when he was proven to be a rapist by 2 juries in civil cases, my opinion of him certainly didn't improve. Here is where my curiosity comes in though. I kept thinking that his base of supporters would at some point realize how horrible a person he is, and stop supporting him. When this didn't happen after the determination of rape, when it didn't happen after Charlottesville, when it didn't happen after January 6th, when it didn't happen after the felony convictions, it got me wondering if there is anything he could do to lose the support of his base. Maybe the Epstein files will reveal more about him than we already know, and if they do, I'm curious about whether the rape of a child would be enough for him to lose the support of his base. Somehow, I think not, and that's what bothers me the most. For one man to be evil is expected, for him to have enough political support to enact national policy, that's horrifying, because that's what Hitler did.
I've reached the conclusion that there is absolutely no level of cruelty that would cause his base to peel away, because his base LIKES cruelty. What I see in the MAGA base is not unlike the German right in the 1930's. I'm sure it was very macho, but it lead to the Holocaust, which is most horrific cruelty the world has ever seen. Instead of Jews though, now it's Hispanics. In any of the immigration detention centers, is there a single white European who overstayed their visa? Of course not, because it's not really about immigration, it's about ethnic cleansing. And when the detainees are held for months or even years without ever even being arraigned before a judge. Without a chance to dispute the accusation and provide proof to the contrary, the MAGA base will delight. And when the crematoriums are built and the ashes of people who were never even charged with a crime start raining down across the country, the MAGA base will delight even more.
