Let's hope they survive the "air-bag" recall......Lot's of folks taking the cash offered from the company, & their otherwise "perfectly well running car" ( though older models ) are being crushed...

The re-cycler's in China are going to have a lot of metal to play with !

Fords seems to be surviving the massive Air-Bag recall that IIRC is much bigger than BMW's... Then again Ford's just passed the buck to Tikati, but they still have to replace the air bags at their dealers...

They replaced the passengers side airbag in the wifes 2006 Lincoln Zephyr not long ago, free of charge.

I find BMW's to be well made vehicles, they are very sporty! Not much in the ways of luxury, refinement or quality like Mercedes-Benz, but a fun car to drive none the less... I also find their vehicles to be fairly easy to work on and the build quality of their engines post 2000's has greatly improved from what it was prior to then, at least in my opinion.

I highly doubt an Airbag recall is going to take down BMW... they also own Mini and Rolls Royce at this time as well.

I'm sure this pandemic has hit all car manufacturers great. Bigger than the issue with recalls.
