I'm not Rex (thank Jesus for that) but does it really matter what race he might have been? If we are to believe what has been written about him (in Christian tomes)his actions, thoughts and deeds transcend any physical traits. However, we may also read other religious works that may pay him... whoops... Him.... little more than lip service and some religions even deny his existence... fuck... His existence.

I have my own views of religion and they are nobodies business but mine. People that start threads on religion often start knocking on peoples doors "selling" their version of religion (now I've said that, I'm sure to have a parade of Jehosaphats Witlesses banging on my door).

Jeez... and we haven't even mentioned snake handling, talking in tongues and that one evangelists miracle holy, healing water (yours in a personal sized sachet for a mere $50 contribution).

We wage wars in the name of religion (fighting for peace is a lot like fucking for virginity). We must save the holy land... which just happens to have some massive oil reserves... from those "opportunistic" religions.

And no religion too ".

So... here the world is.... most folks spend much of their time fucking each other over. After a week of doing that, they go to church and are safe in the knowledge that Jesus died for their sins. They don't have to stop sinning... they just have to be thankful they have a scapegoat.

What does it matter Jesus Christ race? Why would anyone ever even bother to ask that question? None of us were here personally to see what he looked like, or what he said.

No religion comes from a book or a person. Religion is a feeling that exists in a sort of Psychokinesis. A massive network of impulses that are driven by magnetism. This magnetism must be the god. They are smashing atoms and spending billions trying to find him. If you can not honestly feel god, then you are lost. You can bullshit a lot of people PowerStroker, but you can not bullshit yourself.

People can say and do as they wish. I do not wear my religion on my sleeve, but thats only because I know whats out there. It does not surprise me that people learn how to spoof DNA and grow human parts. It never amazes me when some alleged genius finds out a way to explain an every day phenomena such as E=mc2 or gravity. What amazes me is that I was lucky enough to have felt it.

We can explain everything but why? Why is that? LOL! I am all for learning about things, finding new ways to explain phenomena that is beyond our current understanding, but I refuse to set aside the notion that god helps those who help themselves. We allow these religious leaders to walk around like Jesus to remind us that were all just human. Meanwhile the tax payers get to pay for the New York Imams global traveling in an effort to iron out his story, and pick up legitimate finance backers for his mosque. And round and round it will go.

I didn't say anything racist, I simply asked a question. If I had said a specific race was superior... Or presumed he was the same race as me, now that would be racist.

All of the times you have posted "your" version of Jesus, he has been white... both in features and hue.

The question we should be asking isn't what colour Christ was (as I recall, he came from an area where they weren't black... they weren't white but they drove camels...) but who should matter and who shouldn't?

What makes Jesus the "man of the hour" over Buddha, Yahweh, Krishna or Wakan Tanka?

I can't show you a photo of Jesus for one very obvious reason.... there are none. For all any of us know, Jesus could have been an overweight dike..... On second thought, lesbians would likely have been stoned to death back in those civilized times.

Anyway... what kind of idiotic request is "show us a photo of someone who, if he actually existed, died before we had darkrooms and photoshop"?

Through various stages of my life, I have attempted to read so many tomes... the King James version, the Qur'an, the Tanakh, the Bhagvad Gita.... I've come to the conclusion that they are all simply very old tales.... Older than Aesops Fables and older than Dianetics.

Of course that photo was taken back when I was partying up at the University Of Michigan in Lansing, however I never inhaled.

Ohhhhhh... I would dearly love to give you one or more of my days.

One of the more interesting things is when the guy at the independent shop (this would be the guy that can't figure out how to fix the problem") proclaims that I am full of shit.

This could be the guy that told a customer that wheel spacers are OK and his truck would pas the out of province... even though the out of province prohibits wheel spacers.

Stress? You have to please on master... I have to please many.

Trust when I say that my bosses are much harder on me than you. Things they say isnt protected by any "Workplace code".

I also do not get the luxury of being able to just quit at 5pm. The monkey is on my back 24/7.

Let's also not forget that Parts, Rent, Electric, Gas, and such are things you don't need to worry about. You also get some of your tool cost absorbed by Fords.

That computer you work on at work? That phone you use, that hoist you use, that compressed air that comes out of the hoses, the hoses themself, safety-kleen, oil, nuts and bolts, ROL-LOCK PADS, and all them goodies are all just there for you, where as the independent has to tend to and pay for all of the above.

Yes there can be a lot of pricks that work at the dealer, but don't under-estimate the customer pay crowd.

Yes, though that is a religion not a race... He was sent to us to be king of the Jewish people, but ended up founding Christianity (the Jews who accepted him as Christ) instead.
As far as his race is concerned, my guess would be Arabic based on the region of the planet in which he lived.

Good answer...And I was going to along with Arabic too, but a quick search reveals that there are only 3 races of people considered to walk on this planet, with a 4th added only recently...And add-in the "virgin birth story", leaves only mom to consider... Anyhow, this is what we have to choose from...
