How about the impeachment of Bill Clinton? There is no telling how far people like you would have gotten yourself in debt had he and the Democrats not been exposed. I am sure all of Clinton's black op. missions may have been the spark that lit the fire to 911, either that or some angry Democrats wanted to literally "Cook" the books before the Republicans made heads or tales of things. 

I'm unclear on how that helps working class people at all, much less has the soul purpose of doing so.  As I recall, Clinton had a balanced budget...  There was a chart around here somewhere showing that.

Silly distractions from Bill Clinton like cheating on his wife are a famous Democrat maneuver. What woman would stay with a man that got his dick sucked by an intern? I mean the story went absolutely viral at the time. It was the talk of the town, an excellent distraction! Had it not been staged I think Hillary would have left Bill, and maybe she would have had more respect when the most recent Presidential Primaries rolled around.

No Republican politician ever got a knob job from someone they weren't married to?  I seem to remember an incident in the Minneapolis air port bathroom between Senator Larry Craig R, and ANOTHER MAN.

Ill tell you one thing... If I cheated on my wife and it made national headlines I am pretty sure I'd end up shot or be walking around without a dick. I don't even think it would need to make national headlines.

Now... Let's focus on famous Obama distractions.

(1) His name. Barrack Hussein Obama. Take the "B" out of Obama and replace it with an "S" and you have Osama. Do I even need to tell you what other popular dictator had the name Hussein?

Most people campaigned with their FULL last name, Obama simply used the first letter of his name, a capital O with a rainbow. How cute and ironic that the letter O is similar to the number 0.. Zero has no value, it is simply a place holder. Recall anyone bringing up his birth certificate on national TV until after the election? I don't... Outside of the Web.

(2) The second distraction was his healthcare dreams. With a Democratic Super Majority we were all looking left while Obama and the Democrats were going right. There was nothing the Republicans or the citizens could do.. While we were all looking left they were planning their $10 Trillion dollar Asian vacation. After all they had to know forcing Americans to buy something would cost many of them their jobs, and what better way to deal with a historic defeat than go on a vacation.

I already know about Democratic attempts to help working class people, I was asking about Republicans.

(3) The Arizona immigration situation. That was good for a little mis-direction. Who cares if the illegal immigrants were bankrupting Arizona! Right? Hell if you are an immigrant you can use whatever 9 digit Social Security number you think up with impunity.

The racist Arizona law is a state law, not federal and thus fails to meet the challenge stated in the first post of this topic, also I would venture to guess it actually hurts some working class Hispanics, so it fails in at least 2 ways.

(4) Afghanistan, total waste of time and money. But hey it was good for a little distraction. Any word on how close Obama is to finding Osama? I mean that's why we are there right? To find Osama? Don't seem like Obama is aggressively pursuing that goal, in fact didn't he fire the General? Wonder why? Was he getting to close to catching Osama? Oh well.. We don't need to have a mission or an objective when going to war... Naw...


Again, just more bloviating, please try not to hijack the purpose of this challenge.

(5) The Wiki Leaks... I think we all know what Obama meant about "Transparency!" of course many folks thought that transparency was going to be beneficial to Americas, not the other nations.  I guess too many ignorant citizens forgot to ask what kind of "Change" they would be getting. Bummer.

You seem to think the Wikileaks thing was purposefully orchastrated by Obama.  That requires proof, and again is not germain to this challenge and would require a new topic be started.

(6) The Asian vacation... This one seems to be quite a hot topic for you PowerStroker. The distraction was the claims of a $200 million dollar per day vacation to distract attention from the poor trade deal Obama was about to sign which by the way would pave the way for India to get a nuclear reactor, along with some nice new military hardware. In exchange we get a few telephone jobs back in America. Too bad they will ultimately be working for companies that will fold. MCI WorldCom anyone?

How exactly is your bitching about Obama somehow a piece of Republican legislation that had the soul purpose of helping working class people and meets the aforementioned caveats?

(7) The fat lip... Obama needed to prove to people that he is tuff. Like taking a shot to the fleshy part of the thigh. Something to soften the public up and garner him some sympathy from the people who are underacheavers.

Oh.. Speaking of distractions PowerStroker... Am I distracting from your original question?

Oh let me answer that for you with a question.

Who was it that said "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country".

I think that guy was a President wasn't he? I think he was even a hard core Democrat if I recall correctly?

So why now all of are you asking what the Country can do for YOU and the working class? Why should the working class get anything but what they work for? What entitlement should people be getting for going to work? A pay check?

Typical... The whole "What have the Republicans done for me lately" thread has arisen from the dead. Remember Gerry, things like Lincoln freeing the slaves, and numerous other great accomplishments are too old, PowerStroker wants to know what "Republicans have done for him lately" LOL.

It's this "Vote me consessions" mentality that is the root of the problem. It's no wonder things are so corrupt. Whats wrong with electing a President and Government to do the work of the people for the people? Nothing more, nothing less.

Actually PowerStroker, after the Lilly Ledbetter act he wasted a bunch of time trying to close Gitmo and going on vacation... Er... I meant courting the Olympic games. What he should have been doing was pushing thru a good spending bill why he had the super majority. And I would call many of them "rules" you speak of, more or less "guidelines". The ole' "Take what you can, give nothing back" pirate theme they got going on at the moment.

There are many more things he needs to do, but he's off to a great start.

No PowerStroker, I feel the Jobs bill was only a ploy to allow Obama to tour the country for a little early campaign exposure. The only JOB Obama was looking to secure with that bill is his own.
