I am in the process of fitting a 4.2 M116 into my mercedes G wagen i'm having issues with the oil filter i need to relocate it my main question is there are 3 ports between the block and the oil filter housing i have heard talk that one of these can be blocked off and i could use a remote filter is this true and if so does anyone have pics or a plan of which ports go where
It would be easy enough if you got some plate aluminum, some AN fittings, nipples. oil hose and had a machine shop drill and tig the nipples.
If you have a tig that's a bonus. If you are thinking of other nipples right now, well you know how it goes. If it's got tits or wheels it's going to cost you money.
