Let me just start by saying that I NEVER liked Java to start with, but it became clear to me awhile back that many of these spoof "Spyware" and "Virus" programs that get installed into peoples computers while browsing Google are the result of Java scripting. For example lets say you visit a link off Google and in doing so it installs an aggressive program that claims to be scanning your computer for spyware, this program got installed by way of Java script.

Java is a poor company that seems to work hand in hand with advertisers and having Java installed in your computer will make your system venerable to attacks via the web. After removing Java from my computer I no longer had any problems with the auto-install of spoof virus and spyware programs. Should you ever get infected with the spoof virus and spyware scanner all you need to do it use system restore and then restore your computer to an earlier date. Right after that you should un-install Java.

More recently I needed to use the Mercedes-Benz EPC (Electronic parts catalog), anyway it requires the use of Java and wouldn't you know it... Just to install a new version of Java I had to allow the installation of a program called "Hot Bar" that constantly opens up windows for advertising based on the current web site I am viewing.

Imagine that... A piece of shit company like Java having to sink to such lows! Java is used with the USPS online shipping labels, it also works with many Snap-On online applications. Why is a company like Java so poor that they have to resort to such advertising schemes?

It's simple! Java sucks, and their security flaws are putting us all at risk. Recently the Federal Government was able to shut down online gambling sites yet they cant even seem to put an end to e-mail spam, the google re-direct virus, or the Java script virus that infects computers with a spoof adware/virus program.

Just amazing! Just wanted to let everyone know. I for one will be un-installing Java and their BS advertisement program the second my parts have been ordered!

Gee... It only took the Department of Homeland security 1 year to heed my warning and issue a warning about the Java Software!

Pfffttt... I just need to go back in my hole and fix some cars because the more and more I read the morning news the more and more I want to puke!
