With regards to George's wars, well unlike Obama's war (Libya) George captured the boogie-man in Iraq, and now it is your buddy Obama's responsibility to collect. If Obama can not collect I think he should forget about 2012.

From what I have seen in Libya over the past week I think $1,000,000,000.00 has been absolutely WASTED. Unlike George your boy Obama has not gotten congressional approval for his little North African war, and as such he should be impeached and required to pay America back the $1,000,000,000.00 he is spending without congressional approval. Like you said, "It's peanuts" so I am sure Obama has it in his sock drawer.

I guess even Fox applies to this, but it has to be from their news desk - not any of their partisan editorial hacks. And nothing that has been later debunked by another media outlet that occupies a chair in the first 2 rows of the White house press core.

The uprising in Libya is a grassroots effort by the citizens whom have been repressed by an evil dictator for decades. The Libyan people want a representitave government and freedom, not unlike how we had to fight for our independnce from England 235 years ago. The people look different, but their motives are as pure and patriotic as ours were 235 years ago. This is why we are morally obligated to help them.

Democracy never takes root if it's forced on the people. If it's a good idea, the people will adopt the idea themselves. This is what the Libyan people are trying to do, and when you see the news coverage of the people in the streets in jubilation already holding signs that say "Thank you America" they are sincere, and it makes me proud to be an American.

Taxes on gas

Registration and Licence fee's

Taxes on Lotto, Alcohol and Tobacco

Property taxes

Sales taxes

State and Federal income taxes

Taxes on fast food

Taxes on vehicle sales

You do realize that a certain amount of your pay each week goes to union dues dont you?

These things you mention above ARE NOT AID! They are projects that have been paid for by working people that are forced to pay tax on just about everything under the sun.

I been getting these alerts all day about Gadhafi (or however you want to spell it) being captured, then killed.

Congratulations are in order for the Libyan people, brought in part by Americans (On Obamas watch), NATO, and the alliance. Now that Gadhafi is gone I hope things turn around in Libya, although I think the turmoil there is far from over. At lest now there is some stability in the fact that Gadhafi's government has been toppled. The big question now is will they all get along?

I know the interum rebel leader suggested their new system be based on Sharia, but when it's all said and done, and the people decide what they want, they will end up with a religious government that is much less harsh than Sharia, and very pro-American. So it's an improvement to be sure.

I don't recall the old testament ever calling non-believers infidels and insisting that they be exterminated. Yeah they would burn in hell, but that was only after they died.

Our religion has kept up with the times, is tolerant yet mindful. It seeks to accept all deity as at least a step in the right direction as it pertains to humanity.

I don't see that in Islam, although whatever force that is he/she (god) could be all in how one perceives him. An example here would be what nations operating under Sharia law are doing to Christians. It shows me they have no tolerance, that they have become obsessed with something that is consuming them to the core and leading them down the wrong path. By all rights an American who was of Islamic faith would be considered to be an infidel for even living the American life (as would have to be done if someone was to live in America). Yet they have that sneaky cop-out clause that states that if they are acting in a form of deception their is no sin to lie or deceive if it's in concert to eradicating the infidel.

It's fucked up PowerStroker, and you know it! So every now and again America has to rein down some old testament kind of wrath on these radical nations who have leaders that have become more of a God than a servant.

So let's hope Obama is genuine as Cherry Pie, or our chickens could be coming home to roost. You are aware that there is no way our congress is going to come to an agreement on cuts right? You are aware that it will be the military that takes the brunt of the mandatory cuts right? And you are aware that we just disassembled our last 9 megaton bomb right? But we are told we don't need a big stick, that 9 megatons is too much, and a bunch of far more accurate 1 megaton warheads are enough. Naw.. Seems like the de-fanging of America. Bringing our arsenal more in line with other nations. The irony here is that we get hit with a 9 megaton bomb, meanwhile have to fire 9 rockets to match one of our enemies.
