A lot of parallels between what's happening to Herman Cain and what happened to Clarence Thomas. Thomas only had 3 women come out against him though. I guess the Left figured that it would take at least one more to make the allegations more believeable this time around:

Once again, PowerStroker, you prove your total ignorance of anything having to do with the business world.

Settlements indicate payoff because of proven guilt. That's a legal thing.

Payoffs are meant to make a situation go away. No allegation made against Cain (then or now) has ever been proven. Nor were the allegations against Clarence THomas. If they had been proven, the payoff/settlement would be MUCH larger and a lawsuit would entail.

Personally, I know of a woman who worked for a large, worldwide coffee company based in my hometown of Seattle who alleged sexual harrassment, and received a very very large (six figure) payoff (allegations weren't proven, no lawsuit/legal case ever made) and she "went away." Then she joined another company and a few years later, alleged the same thing. And received an even larger payoff to go away. Between those two payoffs, she is now almost set for life.

That could be an excellent strategy for you to vault yourself into the white collar world (or early retirement), PowerStroker. Know any powerful women you could allege sexually harrassed you?

I certainly don't want a woman sending me mixed signals, but if there is a mis-understanding when it comes to sexual harassment it needs to be dealt with ASAP, not 10 years down the road, hell not even a month or a week down the road. The Woman or Man who feels sexually harassed needs to be straight up, the idea that someone put up with something in hopes of advancement and then comes out with accusations of sexual harassment after it doesn't work out can only be classified as buyers remorse. It needs to be reported RIGHT AWAY if the harasser continues to harass! With the only exception being children who are vulnerable, no woman or man should ever be able to masquerade buyers remorse as rape or sexual harassment if they don't take prompt action immediately after a clear warning to the violator.

As to how all this pertains to Cain, I feel he was warned and then made a settlement when he did not stop. These other women could have a valid beef, but having been so long it just sounds like buyers remorse. But that doesn't matter, he paid one woman to keep her mouth closed, I have no doubts from the countless pre-campaign videos that Cain's personality was very much in line with an agressive womanizer and thats just the impression I get, he may not really be that way (since he has lawyered up) but I am entitled to my opinion, and thats what it is. 

Cain's personality aside, it's a shame that the system is set up as to pretty much fuck anyone who gets accused of something. Even if they are found not guilty it still taints the individuals reputation. I think people filing bogus or vindictive complaints should be aggressively prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

The BBB is an extortionist organazation. If I made a $1000 donation my business would be a solid "A" as in accredited...

They know there isn't a snowballs chance in hell that I would give them any money. There are numerous articles on how the BBB approved businesses that didn't even exist and worse.

I have seen companies with 10's of thousands of complaints yet that company will still have an A+ rating. It's like the old saying goes, "You get what you pay for".

In either case PowerStroker, I have but 2 complaints, both of which we refused to answer because the BBB is not what we consider to be an authority.

You know damn well the BBB list ALL complaints, and clearly we don't have many for 10 years, we have LESS complaints than your Dealership PowerStroker.

RIP Herman! Says he died of COVID-19!

We almost died of COVID-19 the other night when we barely avoided a head on collision with a Tesla traveling in the wrong lane! They would have pulled my non seat belt wearing ass out of the trees, used the jaws of life to pry out the womans seat belt wearing body out of the mangled wreck, drove us to the morgue and then they would have said, "Yep, they died of COVID".

Gave up on the BBB around the time this thread ended as well... it would seem corporate corruption wasnt any better under Obama back then either...
