First off what does a PBGC director do?

And who is a "Bain" guy?

I try not to shrink my head with your partisan videos.

The video was a story about American Airlines and how they are trying to use a strategic bankruptcy to screw their employees out of the pensions they have earned.

The PBGC stands for the Pension Benefits Guarantee Corporation (a government agency that insures employee pension plans).

Mitt Romney used to run Bain Capitol (a private equity firm that buys corporations, destroys them, and sells the assets for a profit).

American Airlines is currently paying Bain 14 million dollars a month for consulting fees on how to use the bankruptcy laws to screw their workers out of their pension.

This is more than twice what American Airlines has paid in to the pension fund which the the airline has underfunded by 91 Million dollars (breach of contract).

Obama's director of the PBGC has placed a 91 Million dollar lien on American Airlines assets to try and protect the American Airlines employees from getting screwd out of their retirement at the hands of greedy executives.

Do you think Mitt Romney's choice of PBGC director would do the same?

So am I to assume by your lack of enthusiasm over this issue that you agree that Obama's choice for PBGC director might be a better guy and save the taxpayers some $$$ ?

I don't know.

I been too busy lately to keep up on my politics, however it would be nice if I never had to worry about it. The amount of money it cost to support this current state of bureaucracy is just insane!

I personally think Romney would be a good guy for President, better than Obama even. I personally think Romney needs to win the election, clean house in the government, sell off what needs to go, and work on getting America back to the place where it was. The current path of the Obama Administration to tax and spend is just getting us further into debt and putting off a soon to come correction, only this time it wont be in the housing market... It's going to be in our money and government.

Obama isn't doing anything for small business, nor is he doing much for anyone except for his special interest groups. Obama is all about looking out for Obama, just like the rest of our government.

Obama is killing small business... Obama is killing big business...

NAME JUST ONE THING OBAMA HAS DONE TO HELP SMALL BUSINESS POWERSTROKER.

No reply PowerStroker?

I guess its hard to respond when you know you're FOS.

Speaking of people that like to gut companies and screw hard working people can you name the guy responsible for Chrysler getting busted up and sold to Fiat (an Italian company), all the while absorbing a $1.3 billion dollar LOSS!?

Also, who was responsible for all them GM stock holders getting the shaft? Would that have been the Obama Administration on both accounts?

How about cars for clunkers? How much did we lose on that deal? No requirement to buy American, the old cars were destroyed and their precious metals and parts just GIVEN to the scrap yards.

Yeah PowerStroker, it sure seems to me like your lacking any intelligence, then again you are a Union Dealership mechanic. I guess that explains your ignorant partisan lies.

So having a Bain guy let American Airlines screw their employees and leave the government with a 91,000,000 liability would save us money?  Explain.

Spare me the BS... Right now this entire nation is choking on debt to the tune of almost $17,000,000,000,000.00 (thats 17 trillion dollars for the small minds). To be honest I could really give a fuck about AA's $91 million dollar piss ant problem! Fuck em! If the workers had been WORKING harder the airlines would not be in peril. Perhaps it was Obama's new airport security that has killed American Airlines? I know there is next to NO WAY IN HELL that I would pay money to get gate raped.

Speaking of people that like to gut companies and screw hard working people can you name the guy responsible for Chrysler getting busted up and sold to Fiat (an Italian company), all the while absorbing a $1.3 billion dollar LOSS!?

Chrysler paid back their loans and are now doing great.  Romney wrote an article saying we should just let the big three die.

LOL! ^^ There is one of your lies ^^ because the government took a 1.3 billion dollar READ THIS ---------->"LOSS" selling it's shares to Fiat. Even before the GOVERNMENT sold Chrysler to Fiat it was pretty much owned by MERCEDES BENZ, so who did bailing out Chrysler help PowerStroker? Americans or the Germans? And now you might as well call Chrysler an Italian company. What a bunch of idiots!

Also, who was responsible for all them GM stock holders getting the shaft? Would that have been the Obama Administration on both accounts?

Actually if Obama hadn't saved GM, the stock holders would have absolutely nothing.  Yeah they took a haircut, but it's a lot better than what Romney would have given him by his own admission.

A hair cut? No PowerStroker, the PURE LOSS stock holders took on GM was made possible by rules being bent by Obama and his administration. I think GM could have worked its way out of the problems, but you know how this current administration likes to pick and choose who makes money. It's absolutely pathetic. If you support that kind of thing PowerStroker then you may be pathetic too.

How about cars for clunkers? How much did we lose on that deal? No requirement to buy American, the old cars were destroyed and their precious metals and parts just GIVEN to the scrap yards.

It was like a billion or two, and it sure as hell stimulated my dealership.  We sold hundreds more cars during that time than we would have otherwise.  Granted having a policy like that that would be an ongoing thing would have a negative cost-benefit ratio, but occasionally the government can step in and provide some temporary stimulus to certain industries when needed.

A billion or two? You say that like you got a few billion yourself! We all know you dont, so I would expect you to treat numbers that large with the RESPECT it deserves. When the government wants to occasionally step in and stimulate something in the future they should do so with proceeds taken from government employee paychecks. That way if they make the wrong bet, or in the Democrats case they just plan on failing, it's only they who are out the cost. If their ideas dont make money, neither should they.

Yeah PowerStroker, it sure seems to me like your lacking any intelligence, then again you are a Union Dealership mechanic. I guess that explains your ignorant partisan lies.

What did I lie about?

You tried to lie about Romney, saying he destroyed companies when in reality he saved them from situations like GM had. If anything by, KEY WORD HERE----> "BUYING" the companies before they go bankrupt and then breaking up them companies into more manageable divisions and then selling them divisions to thriving companies many people stand to keep their jobs! Well the hard workers anyway, them lazy Union types might have to either start working or figure out a way to make the company more money... Sounds like WORK to me, guess them Union guys will really be effected by having to produce results and stand accountable.

You want to scream bloody murder over what you call "strategic bankruptcy" as it pertains to AA, yet you want to act like GM and Chrysler's "strategic bankruptcy" netted us a profit, when in fact WE TOOK A LOSS OVERALL! Never mind the fact that GM and Chrysler were actually more along the lines of "cheating in bankruptcy" than " strategic bankruptcy", because thanks to your boy they were allowed to bend/break rules that any other company would have had to abide by in Federal Bankruptcy.

So, I guess it's safe to say you're not only a liar, you're a hypocrite too! What qualities you have!

I don't feel our nations wars (under Bush) have been the cause of our nations financial woes.

I feel our nations financial woes are a result of OBAMA (and his handlers), pure and simple. It was Obama's campaign and the Democrats that brought about this whole "Sky is falling campaign" that started late in 2007 and was amped up by media, big union and a bunch of uneducated people like yourself PowerStroker. During this time the phrase "I can't afford it" turned in to the beginning of the Democratic entitlement phrase "Not in this economy", never mind the same person could not afford it even in a "Good economy".  For example, people taking out loans with really bad terms (ARMS), people buying more home than they could afford "hoping" one day their pay would catch up with their lavishness.

This whole sence of entitlement was fostered under the Clinton administration, who is mostly responsible for giving anyone with a pulse the Jumbo loans. How did they do it? How did they make private banks feel comfortable giving someone a $150-250K loan with a "regular" job? How did they feel safe making intrest only loans? Well the government decided to insure the loans, which made bad paper turn into gold. Needless to say it didn't turn out that great.

Democrats trying to draw a correlation between WORLD WAR recessions of yesterday with relatively small skirmishes like Iraq as being the cause for our problems is a lot like trying to blame Bush for people living beyond their means.

The point that flew right over your head in that video PowerStroker it that much like Germany Obama is printing more and more money. As you can see from the video that didn't work out to well for the Germans, so what makes you think it's going to work out any better for us?

In closing I should also add that much like Obama lowered the moral of the people to get into office he is now trying to raise moral to get re-elected. Only one problem... It's not working... His stock market buddies like Soros might be able to make markets tank in Europe, which is artificially inflating our market but after all wasn't it Soros who busted the bank in England and put the hurt lock on their market not long ago? It's not hard figure out whats going on. Obama's problem is that housing has not come around, it's still in the tank. Joblessness is at all time highs, yet the Administration has found ways to distort the actual TRUE amount of unemployed. Not only that he is printing money like it's going out of style (which it is). Yet he has the nerve to stand up in front of people and tell them things are getting better? LOL! What a joke.

It's no wonder Whitney Houston recently died from abusing drugs. It's just a stark reminder how very stressful it is out there when people have jobs that expect RESULTS. Unlike Obama who must put on a show once every 4 years it's very different for the "Real" working class. Even if the nation fired Obama in 2012 he would receive a very generous severance pay for the rest of his life.

It's Obamas fault PowerStroker, and he is more than happy to run for re-election to carry that torch. The people willing to give him a second term for what amounts to a piss poor job are the people living off his entitlements. Obama got on national TV and told people he "deserves" a second term! LOL! What he deserves is "IMPEACHMENT" for being so arrogant and disconnected from his constituents. Obama has lived off entitlements his whole life, he is a product of our nations wastefulness and given his spending and the current national debt you can not deny that fact.

Ah, so if the Germans hadn't gotten so trigger happy and started wars against other nations, they wouldn't have had to pay for the damages afterward and wouldn't have had such economic problems.

So am I to understand you're against all of Bush's wars for the same reason?

You put up a graph of 11 months worth of Bush private employment vs. Obama's 14 months of negative private employment!?

LOL! You are a punk PowerStroker... Whoever clipped that graph left out the many years before 2008. That graph is the work of a partisan hack!

The graph clearly indicates private employment suffered the most during Obama. So you are proving my point.

Better luck next time kid. Notice how private employment suffered right about the time Obama announced his running for President? That's because he pitched doom and gloom, and lowered the moral of many ignorant people, who then voted for him because, well... because they are ignorant.

Obama's Policies? You are pretty ignorant sometimes.

Really what is shown is how much of a difference it made when Americans voted the Democrats out of the House and Senate. Just think how awesome things will be when Democrats are voted out of the Senate and the White House too!

You can not deny the lack of details prior to 2008, and you can not deny the fact most of the improvements you want to give Obama credit for were made when Americans voted out the Democratic super majority and replaced them with Republicans!

So Obama must be thanking me for my honesty!
