Conor McGregor vs. Floyd Mayweather

I personally think the UFC should forget about making McGregor fight his remaining 4 fights and just let him take on Mayweather! If he wins it only boosts the UFC brand!

I for one would pay to see this fight.. Ole' Floyd has been flashy with his cash, which is cool... Providing he keeps providing us with some good action! The fact Mayweather isn't afraid to put it on the line is also inline with his "big pimp'n" style, so win, lose or draw I'd have more respect for them all (UFC, Mayweather and McGregor) if they just got this $hit worked out and got these two in the ring while it's still hot!

We haven't had good Boxing entertainment since Tyson! Getting thirsty for a good boxing match!

I guess Mayweather is coming out of retirement to fight McGregor in June!

I knew Mayweather would! I knew he wasn't no money flashing pu$$y! Got mad respect for the guy now!

It's so rare to find people that walk the walk.. I wish him luck!

Yep, that's someone you don't ever want to meet in a dark alley lol...

The fights between Stoma & the Admin are more entertaining here though...When do they start-up again ?...

Afraid Stoma must have used a fake email address, and thus will never be able to unlock his Stoma profile.

Figures... If Stoma was anything, FAKE best sums it up.

Such hard luck Rastus... Oh well...

For $99.99 I really feel somewhat ripped off that they did not let Mayweather pummel McGregor to the floor!

To end the fight after a little fatigue, especially given the amount of $hit talking was just wrong! I have no doubt that Maywaeather had him, but they should have at least waited for a KO! WTF has boxing become?

Oh well, I still enjoyed the fight... Just wished it didn't end with some decision of a referee who clearly didn't want to see it carry on. Both were tired but Mayweather seemed to have more endurance. Referee should have let Maywether finish McGregor!

Glad you enjoyed the fight.

Apart from the nature of the game, insurances, liabilities, sponsorship, advertising etc etc ( eg, $$$ ), all putting pressure on each side to win, I'm pretty sure that the industry in modern-times, & particularly the referee, have a "Duty of Care" to uphold. This means pulling-the-plug on the game if there's serious doubt about a fighters ability to continue on, as they're considered as-good-as-finished, & serious personal damage likely.

When this decision is made by the referee, there's always doubt on both sides about the result.

Having had time to ponder on what I paid $100 to watch, I can say this...

Sure, the Referee was within his rights to stop the fight and call it for Mayweather.... But from a consumers standpoint, as someone who spent $100 to watch the fight, I don't think I will be paying for any more fights... To stop the fight without any blood on McGregor or Mayweather and without a single knock down by either side is unacceptable.

That said, the fight should not have been stopped... The 3 knockdown rule had already been waived, so one would expect that in such a serious matchup they would let it go the distance. These two people were being paid MILLIONS for this fight, which pretty much amounted to a school yard brawl where the teacher breaks up the fight before anyone can really figure out who won. You would expect that in school, but not in a highly publicized and hyped up professional boxing match.

In reality, they both lost... UFC, Pro Boxing and the entire industry as a whole because I will never again fork out $100 to watch a fight that is not permitted to go the distance. I had McGregor as the aggressor for all but two rounds, one of which the fight was called for Mayweather. That said, I hope they can live out the rest of their carriers on my $100 this time around because I can pretty much guarantee you I won't be paying good money like that for the kind of $hit I seen.

It was a good fight, no doubt... right up until the time they called it without a single knock down or drop of blood.

Nothing wrong with this complaint. No doubt you're not the only one....

You do know that bad-press & poor public response like this only ensures a re-match LOL ?!!!

Perhaps, but they will have to find someone else to pay for it... I'll just wait until the next day to hear the results.
