I have never really been a big fan of football or any other sport unless my home team made it to the top two, a lot of people are the same way... But when it comes to the big games such as the Super Bowl, Stanley Cup, World Series ect, most everyone at least pays attention just to see who is the best... 

But not this year, at least as far as the Super Bowl goes... I am not going to watch the Super Bowl tomorrow! Usually I always at least turn it on and watch on occasion... Some games are better than others and some years the advertisements and half time show are better than others... My point here is, this year I won't even turn it on! 

It angers me that the NFL uses the national anthem as a tool to stir up controversy... It's unacceptable for them to use our nations National Anthem in this way. The NFL is the organization in control and they don't seem to be doing anything to stop this disrespect! Sure, people have a right to kneel however the NFL has the OBLIGATION to ensure their employees are promoting their image. I know for a fact that most people who watch the NFL aren't impressed when they see some overpaid meat head taking a knee during the National Anthem to get a little attention! Take Colin Kappernick for example (and who cares if I spelled his last name wrong), no one would have ever heard of this guy if it wasn't for his disrespect of the National Anthem on NFL's national stage! The NFL is just as culpable here as they figure no advertisement is bad advertisement.... Well I'm here to say to the companies paying big money to broadcast commercials during the NFL that I will not be watching them! NONE OF THEM! In fact if I see them after the game like they always do I'll purposely avoid buying anything from that company! You know how they like to post "best TV commercials from the Super Bowl" on all the major news outlets... Well I'll watch them just so I know who supports this and do my little part to stick it to the man! 

I know most won't be able to resist... But I will..
