Most likely Russia wanted to give their American puppet some distraction from his domestic legal woes, so they told Assad to go ahead and gas some people so Trump could launch a small attack against a few facilities. It seems any time Trump is put on the ropes by Muller or whatever, some Syrian civilians get gassed. Putin probably told Trump it was ok to do it, and not to fear release of the pee pee tape over it because the whole purpose of the gassing was to be a gift of political distraction for Trump.

Just watch the trends over the next few years. It's a shame however, that innocent people die for no other reason, other than the protection of an ego.

Now it would appear that North Korea is coming around... I am sure after the axes of evil has already performed most of their testing they need a little wiggle room to recuperate and will thus play some BS games until the next time.
