Well it seems there is too much home turf advantage here on this forum for the liberals to join.. and while I am a fair person and always have been, they want some concessions to join..
One of them being their own forum that they control... I'd like to call it the Snowflake lounge but they may end up changing the name. They would control that particular forum, since you know how they are about their "safe spaces"..
It's about the best deal I can offer them, in an effort to get us all at least on the same board...

Well, I'm kinda a hybrid of political notions, I love guns last time I was in Arkansas, olderthandirt and I were firin away, brother . I should post my target, all kill shots except one, and I fired twice through on same hole. We had a firing range set up against a backdrop of the Oachita mountains.
I go in all persuasions of threads. That would be nice for folks, tho.

It's no secret that half the forum was liberal and half the forum conservative, and that is probably why it was so interesting. It's a shame that we need another forum just for them, but the reality is at this point in time the forum is overwhelmingly conservative... Save for maybe PowerStroker, Rastus and Falcon.

They sure think highly of themselves. They're always wrong, but they sure think highly of themselves.
To be totally fair, they didn't "demand" anything... My thread title was more or less a figure of speech.
The idea to add a special "Liberal-Land" was of my own, because we do not have the ability for users to "block" one another, or at least if we do - I don't know about it.
This would allow some of the members, many liberal, to maintain their forum as they saw fit and delete any offensive comments.
It only seems fair given the amount of conservatives we have, and honestly having a post deleted is better than being ignored all together.
Who knows, some Chinaman might buy out DH and open it on the 9th... I was more or less bummed the forums were closing than DH, because again, "I was just there for the forums". lol
But I am just here for the forums too!

From what I understand Cafe is not doing well. I used to PM with him from time to time on various subjects... We usually agree on about everything except Asia.. Seems he has a soft spot for Asians.
