Since persons like your president have invested greatly in China over the years, by selling off jobs & manufacturing rights etc to China, they're now going to make even more money out-of-the-US-of-A citizens, when everything jumps-up in price lol !
China is making everyone's Nukes SELLC, with around 180 new nuke plants still on the agenda over the next 15-or-so years...
China also has the worlds largest population & military...

China has had to sell us things at a loss for all these years! The government was substidizing their products to keep prices artificially cheap. Now that prices for cheap Chineese are rising, due in part to Trumps tariffs, people will find other alternatives. China may have a billion people and a big army however it wont do them any good as they starve. The bigger the army and population the bigger the costs to keep them fed and happy.
I think you will find that China cant have it both ways. When the pinch sets in the USA wont have to do anything as their own people revolt and quality of life dips. Its not China who is making money off tariffs! Its the USA! The cost of their goods will increase but not because they are raising the prices and getting more money.

China also forgets that none of their Asian neighbors don't want to see China on top, because these nations know China does not operate on the level and would eventually end up taking over all of Asia. Just look how China is trying to take over the surrounding seas and encroach on other nations.

Intellectual property theft is thru the roof as well!
I am not sure if American companies just sold off all their old stuff to China so they could make room for the new stuff, but how can we trust China? It's obvious they only serve to undermine us and you can't blame them for taking advantage for so long. Two decades ago China was getting aid from the USA and we put a lot of their people to work for over a decade now.
It's clear China could have resolved the North Korea incident with the amount of meetings they have had since Trump decided to go with a one on one with Little Kim. It's clear China was trying to fence Trump with North Korea but it seems now that ole' fish lips might have bitten off more than he can chew. The USA is China's biggest customer, but we can go elsewhere.
Already major investments into American business as a result of Trump and his America first policy! It's a shame people like PowerStroker feel compelled to mock Trump with unflattering naked photos and fake cartoon propaganda signature photo... but that's how them Dem's roll... Even when Obama was President I didn't sink to such lows... and look at Robert De Niro and his little tirade, it's like all the liberals have been forced off their meds.
