How much longer before Fords needs a bail out? That is the question!
Just when things were turning around for Fords, with their acquisition of the old Train Station and the news that they will be re-releasing the Bronco and Ranger...
But then they claimed to be killing the Sedan, which many have taken as a sign they are in trouble.
Every time I turn around Ford is sending me recall notices. Will it ever end? Not sure about the Ford dealerships here in PCB, but the one dealership that serviced me in Kennesaw, GA was first class!

I've been doing a lot of recalls lately. It seems Ford still puts a lot of effort in to making full size trucks really well, but some of the smaller stuff has really gone to shit lately.
I doubt they are anywhere near needing a bailout, but if they don't up the quality in the smaller vehicles soon anything is possible. It's more a case of shareholders getting screwed than anything else.
Basically just avoid buying anything with the 1.5 or 1.6 liter Ecoboost engines - they're dropping like flies.

I have actually been impressed with Fords light and heavy truck engineering as of late...
Its like they seen all my bitching and figured out that making commercial vehicles excessively hard to work on sunk in... But who knows, they still have a LONG way to go... If I were richer Id offer to do the Trump service of going in there and cracking skulls....
As it stands, I am still a capitalist and they cant afford it...
Oh well... Cadillac couldnt afford me either - and thats with four brand new Cadillacs a night at my disposal.
