Something tells me we will see the tax returns of President Trump soon, which will basically say he is rich but reinvest every dime to look poor when it comes tax time. No surprise here, anyone who owns or runs a business knows this.
Something also tells me there will be some serious grandstanding by some of the most annoying people known to the Republican party.

Meanwhile in Michigan it has pretty much flipped from Red to Blue... Now that a lot of Michigans big messes have been cleaned up by Republicans and Republican oversight in Detroit it would seem that both the Governor and Senator are now Democrats! How could anyone name their kid Gretchen!? I mean it is so butch... I swear it is like Granholm all over again! Also it would appear that pot is now legal in Michigan!

My district flipped from red to blue which is nice, also a neighboring district finally got rid of that douche bag Eric Paulsen, so locally things are looking up. We also re-elected both Democratic senators, and elected a new Democratic Governor, and Attorney General.
Nationally, With Dem's in charge of the House it will stop some of the bleeding in terms of ridiculous debt financed tax cuts for the rich, but without the Senate we can't do much else except stop some of the really bad stuff from happening - which is not a great thing to run on. People like new policy and with only one house it's not like we can implement much. Though I would imagine the house investigation into Russia collusion will be re-opened and actually taken seriously this time, so there's that.
