Sometimes it takes a Hoover in order to bring about a FDR. We definitely have a Hoover now. So if the past is any indication of the future, we are in for a great New Deal in the not so distant future! I mean, just imagine... If Hoover's incompetence brought FDR to power. If Bush's incompetence brought Obama to power, just imagine who Trump's incompetence will bring forth. Good things are on the horizon folks, we just need to endure this for a little while longer.

What caused the need for that? Probably some asshole who decided to fly airplanes into multiple buildings on 9/11 and the aftermath is what caused that.

Anyone got a list of people who have been stigmatized by 30 and 40 year old "blackface" hysteria?

Off hand, there was Megan Kelly and recently someone else...

I knew a few kids in elementary school who dressed up as black people for Halloween back in the 80's! Wonder if their lives will be forever ruined? I also know a few people who dressed up as girls - but that's totally hip now days.

Putting aside pure racist hate, what about the people who honestly never seen it as degrading? Or in the instances where times have changed from the 50's to the 60's? By that standard everyone 65+ years old could technically be guilty of some kind of racist gesture.

First of all, there is more evidence against Kavanaugh than Clinton, and y'all said it was insufficient evidence.

Second, Nobody has been pushing Weinstein for a lifetime appoint to the Supreme Court.

Third, I have personally condemned Weinstein, as has just about every other liberal I've seen. Weinstein should spend the rest of his days rotting in prison. I believe in applying the same standard to all, regardless of ideology... A reason mind you that I resist someone like Kavanaugh on the court.
