That sticker likely also states, that you're going to have trouble collecting the money owed for the bill from him / her once / if they discover your voting preferences...
If you can afford to pass the job onto someone else, that's what I'd do, since your losses may prove the greater down-the-road, just as the Prez is displaying at the moment.

We are OK. Still missing my one little doggie had the strokes, had to have him put down August. The other one doing fine for 15 years old! Snores, hard breathing sometimes, 20-25 melanomas on him for a few years, he doesn't seem to scratch them or anything.
Waiting for winter to go away! Rainy cold, change to snow weekend or so. It's March though, almost over!

Actually you can go on eBay and get two 225/45ZR19 tires for $130. That is $260 for the set of four.
I charge $25 per tire to mount and balance.
$360.00
But a Pirelli tire is a name brand, not a Michelin or Goodyear, but up there.
Then the price I mention above is absolute wholesale.
I put four new tires on my Corvette for $625, directional ZR rated staggered tires (two different sizes). THAT IS JUST THE COST OF THE TIRES WHOLESALE!
But I mounted them myself.
Fords also likes to glue their wheel covers on the rims now days, makes for lots of fun changing them.

Thanks Stellar Baby! I see Sams Club is having a special on Pirelli tires, buy 4 get $80.00 off. We shall see if this service advisor will match that price, but I doubt it. Since the Hurricane there is so much price gouging going on...its not even funny. I didnt have a good feeling about this guy.

My dealership views tires as a loss leader that gets people in the door so we can inspect for other needed work. We charge $5 over our cost for tires, plus installation labor $80 on a set of 4, tax, and disposal (couple bucks each).
The price you stated sounds pretty typical of what I would expect for sport tires. I personally spent over $600 to put Michelins on the stock F150 I used to own.
I'm a big fan of Michelin, but not Goodyear.
I have no opinion on Pirelli tires, which means they are probably good. If they weren't good I'd probably have an opinion of them by now.
Also of note, Wal Mart / Sams Club often sell a lower grade of the same brand and model tire sold elsewhere. They have enough buying power to get tire makers to produce a cheaper version, and they often do. A Goodyear Wrangler at Wal Mart, may not be the same Goodyear Wrangler sold elsewhere. Check to see if the actual part numbers are the same before assuming they are.
Pirelli are awesome IMO, at least as far as motorcycle tires go.
But the deal is two-fold...If you want grip, you sacrifice mileage...If you want mileage, you sacrifice grip...
Pirelli are generally regarded as performance orientated, though the touring tires I've used in the past offer great grip too, as they're generally made with a massive-stack-of-rubber, at least 2.0mm taller than the competition when measured new.
Exotic rim sizes & "directional-tires" will always see a huge bump-up in price for cars, simply because the tire will only work on one side of the vehicle, due to tread pattern design, & even carcass design depending on speed rating.

I totally agree with you about Sams getting a lower grade, now that you mention it. Sometimes I buy Sams gas and the car performs terribly. Michelin tires all had great reviews... thanks for your expertise, on this.
Ill go with the dealership tires. Damn me. It was all my fault needing tires earlier than expected. Running over curbs almost daily hasnt helped with the big chunks taken out of the the tires. Looks like some animal was eating them Or something the parking garage at work is no friend of mine either. Always running over curbs and shit in there too! Perhaps when all is said and done, I will get another another golf cart and use the car for night driving Only.

ugh, Shawnee. That was very tough on you having to putting your little buddy down, I know. When they get old and start to suffer, you know youre doing the right thing. at that point, you know the doggie was loved a lot and had a great life but we dont want to see them suffering. Im starting to go through that now with one of my furry friends.

another knowledgeable one. This is exactly what Ive come to learn. I love the grip, but do I really need it ? Ummm.. not at all. The tires and tires and rims are what makes the car look haute! Those Pirelli tires only Lasted 40,000 miles. Its going to be over a grand to replace. Ouchie, ouch ouch...oh well...we only go around once.
