Yes sir I agree. I for one can do without my advocados, Mex fruit and veggies for a while as long as the border fiasco/illegal invasion is fixed/halted. Look what people gave up in the WW1 and WW2? We can't do a similar sacrifice? Grow veggies, get canned, frozen or better yet dehydrated or flash frozen you'll be fine.
However what is the impact of taking care of all these illegals Mr M? MUCH MORE than any Veteran, Senior, Retiree would ever get.

Whatever it takes to fix the problem! We have people here that need to be taken care of, and we already know they are worth it! Why take a risk at this rate of influx!?
It's like a party to these migrants where the last one to leave gets the bill, and that will be the American tax payers!

I couldn't find a straight answer for the US-of-A & it's political idealism / identity...It seem the constitution is written to contain democratic & republican policy...

We use a democratic process to elect our representatives...
and we use the electoral college to elect The president and Vice President...
It is all right there in the constitution...
The idea the constitution was written to contain democratic and republican policy would be a tough one to reconcile since the republican party did not get formed for almost 100 years later.
The big debate when we formed the Union is one of Federalist vs Anti-Federalist...
This is precisely why the 10th amendment was written as it was...which basically leaves everything not specifically mentioned in the constitution to the states to determine...

I'm not sure that it's possible for the UK or even the US-of-A Nuke Industry to start cleaning-up the place, if even at all possible...First you have to get them to admit that the place is hazardous in a court-of-law, but judges & officials seem to sell-out to Nuke $$$ than common sense & the obvious. Even if we're all suffering from fall-out right now..
