Omar, crook so far. Hey I a poet

Omars Caught Redhanded, Ordered To Pay Thousands In Campaign Violations

Rep. Ilhan Omar previously denied that she violated any campaign finance laws in the past, but she has now been caught redhanded. The controversial Minnesota Congresswoman can no longer deny these charges as she has now been ordered to pay thousands back personally. You dont want to miss this.

Rep. Ilhan Omar has been found guilty of campaign finance law violations when she was serving as a state lawmaker. This scandal has plagued her for almost two years with the noted anti-Semitic Congresswoman refusing to acknowledge it.

During a 2018 debate between Omar and then-Republican challenger Jennifer Zielinski, a radio moderator brought up the campaign complaints to Omar. In response, Omar called the man who brought the charges against her, Rep. Steve Drazkowski, a bigot. She claimed that she had at that point not received any notification from the campaign finance board.

When asked three times by the moderator if she had misused campaign funds for travel, however, Omar hesitated before replying in a halting manner: If there was, um[pauses]an, an improper action, I would not have used it, according to Sinclair.

That was then, now the state board has found she indeed violated campaign finance laws.

The state board ordered Omar to personally reimburse her campaign for just under $3,500 the campaign spent on out-of-state travel for Omar and on her joint tax returns, reports the Daily Caller.

Omar is also required to pay a civil penalty of $500 for using campaign funds to pay for her travel to a conference in Florida, where she received an honorarium for speaking.

In 2018, state Rep. Steve Drazkowski, a Republican, filed complaints with the Minnesota Campaign Finance Board, alleging that Omar improperly spent nearly $6,000 in campaign funds for personal use, including other payments to her divorce attorney and travel expenses.

Drazkowskis filing came after an earlier case in which Omar paid back $2,500 for honoraria fees she received for college speechesa violation of ethics rules. Drazkowski later amended his complaint to include the payments Omars campaign made for her personal travel.

I had observed a long pattern, Drazkowski told Sinclair. Rep. Omar hasnt followed the law. Shes repeatedly trampled on the laws of the state in a variety of areas, and gotten by with it.

But thats not all. Omar appears to have used funds for obtaining immigration records and to pay off her personal tax attorneys.

The $2,250 payment was a reimbursement for two payments made by the Kjellberg Law Office. One payment of $750 was made to De Leon & Nestor, LLC for obtaining immigration records and one payment of $1,500 was made to Frederick & Rosen, Ltd. for services related to Mr. Hirsis and Rep. Omars filed joint tax returns of 2014 and 2015.

So, now that she has been caught, Omar is quick to smooth it all out and then to claim it wasnt for personal use. Well, it was. Omars paying for immigration records and to tax attorneys related to filing her joint tax returns.

This quote is taken directly from the judgment against Omar: Ms. Kjellberg stated that there was a personal benefit to Rep. Omar from the services as there was an issue with her tax returns that needed to be corrected regardless of her status as a candidate.

Im glad this process is complete and that the Campaign Finance Board has come to a resolution on this matter. We have been collaborative in this process and are glad the report showed that none of the money was used for personal use, as was initially alleged, Omar said in a statement her campaign released to the Daily Caller.

In addition to complying with the Boards findings, I plan on closing the account from my State House race and distributing the funds to organizations that help train first-time candidates to run for officeso that the next generation of candidates and their teams know how to adequately track and report campaign expenses. I also believe we need to dedicate more resources to our campaign finance agenciesand I look forward to supporting these efforts, Omar said.

What? Its so bizarre how these leftists blow off their own corruption. Omar was hoping no one would follow up on her campaign funds. Then, shes ordered to pay it back because it was for her own use. Thats the whole point.

And when she knew she had used funds for personal use, she uses the old race card and calls the man bringing charges against her, Rep. Steve Drazkowski, a bigot.

Well, Rep. Drazkowski shouldnt hold his breath waiting for a much-earned apology from Omar. No, politicians like Omar are grifters, using their power to take advantage of the system and when caught, they simply pretend like it never happened. Americans across the country now know the truth and heres hoping Omars days are numbered in Congress.

She is also being audited for taxes, both state and fed and FOR GOOD REASON, they think she faulted for years, near a decade from what I remember.

And for #3, married her brother to skirt immigration.

So what will happen. A raise, party, clap on the back?

Wow 6 grand in penalties, holy balls!!! It's a good thing she has Soros to help foot the bill.

In all seriousness though, yeah, if she did something wrong she should be held to account. I'm not going to instinctively circle my wagon around her just because she's a Democrat. We need to hold our reps to the highest standards... And our courts and executive branch too.

Here is the funny part...

She is actually guilty of several FELONIES...she twice (2014 and 2015) filed federal returns jointly with a man she was illegally married to...

Donald Trump who has used tax laws to his benefit is not guilty of such crimes. We may not like how he did certain things but he did them within the law...

People around him have committed crimes but their own crimes Michael Cohen is in jail for tax evasion...That is still not a crime committed by Donald Trump...

Collusion we were sworn would be proven was not proven, not even close...so it became obstruction since collusion would not stick...

only it is tough to charge anyone with obstruction without an underlying crime.

As I under stand campaign finance law, it is actually a crime for someone to pay off porn stars on your behalf if the amount exceeds the maximum allowable donation. Especially if the motive is to influence a national election.

I seem to recall someone paying well in to the six figures to accomplish such a thing, but i can't remember who... Was it Omar? Perhaps you guys can help me remember.

It would be if it were done with campaign funds...but it was done with private funds that were reimbursed...

Everyone knows Trump screwed Stormy Daniels...

Everyone knows she EXTORTED money to remain silent...

Everyone knows that Cohen is in jail for tax evasion that has NOTHING to do with Stormy Daniels...

trying to claim it was a campaign donation was a long stretch back then it has been put to bed long ago...

And we are not talking about  Ilhan Omar campaign issues, those are just things people pay fines for...

Hell, Obama had more than 2 million dollars in campaign finance violations in 2008.

Omar is alleged to be guilty of TAX FRAUD a FELONY...

As I understand, if Trump used personal funds to pay off his porn stars right off the bat, it wouldn't have been a legal issue at all. But because Cohen made the payments with his own personal funds, that in itself is considered funding the campaign because the purpose was to influence the election by paying people to keep quiet about the behavior of a candidate.

Because he was later reimbursed by President Trump for an illegal contribution can therefore result in the president facing charges of Conspiracy to commit campaign finance violations and/or accessory after the fact, especially if they had at any time coordinated or even discussed this plan prior to Cohen making any such payment. And I'm sure that if he were not president, such charges would have already been filed. I guess because he is the president, it will be up to the House of Representatives to conduct an investigation in to this matter and decide what if anything to do about their findings.

Trump would have been wise not to reimburse Cohen for this, but wisdom has never been his strength.

But I do feel so much better knowing we have a legal expert here to explain why anybody who saves him a dollar in taxes can't possibly be guilty of anything wrong.

It was not illegal PERIOD....the left trying to make it a campaign donation fell apart long ago...

and if it had stuck it would be a misdemeanor and only punishable by a fine...as stated Obama was guilty of over 2 million dollars in campaign violations...

Tax Fraud is a FELONY...Ilhan Omar could go to prison like Michael Cohen...
